Leave a Review Widgets for Alexa
Doesn’t work on MacOS. Maybe for iPad?
This is a review for using the app on MacOS. It doesn’t work. I can add a command and set it up as a widget but the clicking the widget brings up the app and it opens the command interface as if to edit it. Testing the voice command acts like Alexa will do the command but it doesn’t. I have no idea if it would work on iPad but since this app was last updated three years ago, I will suggest to NOT try this app. I wonder if my Amazon email and password were pilfered now. I will go change the them.Show lessNo longer supported?
If this app would’ve worked, it would’ve been great. However, as it is, all Alexa says is “this function no longer supported on non-Alexa certified devices.” I’ll give the developer the benefit of the doubt that when they created this app that may not have been an impediment. As it is, the app no longer functions.Show lessAlexa can have widgets
You can do different things with different widgets in itDoes not work!
I was hopeful but …. This app seems useless.
I downloaded it, added it to my Alexa account…created a widget in this app then made the shortcut for it in iOS.
When I click the widget, all it does is take me to the widget editor. It never launches the widget instructions which is supposed to speak to Alexa in order to fire off a routine.
No worky! No instructions…UI is over-the-top basic like some Mario game. ?? Don’t bother with the download.Show lessFix your TRASH
