What a mess.

I absolutely HATE writing a bad review, but this game is simply awful, awful, awful. First off, there was absolutely no way for me to quit out of this game unless I unplug the computer and restart it. The first scene or two were fine, but after that, all that's left to do is run around clicking on things and hope something happens. There are zero hints available and making it past the first shed is impossible. It could be a really interesting game except for the fact that there's nothing to be done once you're at the first shed. Plus, the button code on the roof did not work, so I went to a walkthrough and I did it exactly as prompted. This game is not a good one and I'm very disappointed that I could go no further with it.

Disappointing

I found this game VERY short for the price. The puzzles were all the same variation. All in all very disappointing.

Response from developer

Sad to read you didn’t enjoy my game. I make every effort to create the best experience possible. If you have suggestions you can reach me here: chris@m9games.co.uk

OK

An ok game but very short and with issues. Solutions to puzzles sometimes need to be done repeatedly, so you think you are on the wrong track. Not worth buying but ok for an hour if free

Crashes

It keeps crashing

Response from developer

Hi there, where about does the game crash? Maybe your device needs a restart? If you could reach out over email then I can help further.

Short but good

Yes it’s short but give it a try. I play every point and click adventure game I can get my hands on and this was a great little game to play in one evening.

Response from developer

Thanks for the great review! Really pleased you enjoyed the adventure!

Short and boring

Not worth the $3.00. I finished the game In just under 35 minutes. I could not find any way to lower or cancel the music, and I couldn’t turn off the sound as the only way you know something was done right-or wrong-was when a beep, click or other tone was played. And the game was not intuitive as to where you should tap (I played on an iPad.) I ended up just tapping the screen in various places, lucking out that you had to tap a dark bush to move forward in one place. Places to move forward we’re too near the edge of the screen, or stupid like tapping a cliff to go down to a beach. The puzzles were very simple. And with two of puzzles, after entering the code the button area was still on the screen. Only if something appeared in your inventory would you know you were successful. I do not recommend this game.

Thanks for the review of my game. The game is an exploration game so players are expected to hunt around a little. The puzzles can be solved really fast if you are an experienced puzzle solver(or use a walkthrough on Youtube), but I try to cater for all levels of experience and a lot of people find the puzzles quite challenging and rewarding without a guide. I'm sorry to hear you had troubles with the inventory, despite this you managed to complete the game in under 35minutes, that is really good going! I put my heart and soul into my games, and working as a solo developer I believe I give a good adventuring experience, sadly I cannot always please everyones taste, but thank you for trying!

Way too short!

There were good puzzles, I only got stuck on one but that turned out to be the second last puzzle of the game. In total there are only 8 puzzles in the whole game. So I can't really recommend the game unless you're looking for something really quick and not difficult. Graphics are pretty good but no interactions just scenes. Music got annoying so I turned my volume down. OK but not great.

Thanks for the feedback. As a solo developer I try my best to give a decent level of puzzle gameplay. I feel Ayuda offers the player a decent puzzle challenge for the time, cost and effort it took to make. Thanks for trying my game.

Too short and pointless

Very short game for a paid one
Puzzles were not very interesting and very little story line there are much better ones around don’t waste your money

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback, I try to concentrate on creating an adventure/puzzle environment for the player rather than a story based one. As a solo developer I simply don't have time else the project would never finish sadly. I'm sorry to hear you didn't feel the game was worth paying for, perhaps my games aren't for everyone but thank you for trying!

Favourite so far!

This is definitely a dev to look out for, his games are sooo good, I think I even preferred this game to enigma and I adored Enigma! So that is saying something, the puzzles in this game are perfect so I only used a hint once on the crate/ door code puzzle because I got fixated on the meaning of the black star on the crate thinking it was part of the solution. If you don’t use any help all the way through this game definitely takes a decent amount of time. Well worth the money, I love how much you are left to work things out…such a sense of achievement, the puzzles are totally logical and varied, also like the bits of story and sound effects. Can’t wait to start the next one!

Thank you for the generous review, it really means a lot. Really glad you enjoyed the adventure, I try so hard to include a variety of puzzles and not just 'off the peg' ones, to challenge all levels of puzzlers. Thanks again for playing!

Not Happy

Bought this game to an having trouble opening the cave, tried several times. Still can’t get in.

Response from developer

Hi there, you have to use the radio signal that lights up on the roof of the cabin. It changes every game so double check it is correct. Also check the code box resets by listening for the beep as I mentioned in your TIERRA review. If you need any more help please reach out to me via email or social media and I'll be happy to help!
