  • Nice Game

For those just getting into Hanafuda this is a great game with helpful hits in play.

Adding a 3, 6, and 12 round game would complete this game.
  • Overall Good Game

But when you start making good points, somehow the bot have tons Moon Viewing and Blossom Viewing one after another.
  • Incredibly Unbalanced

While I don’t consider myself a Koi Koi expert, the AI on this game is so challenging to the point where it’s not fun to play at all. At best I can make 1 point combos, but the AI can build different brights/light variations and manages to always snag the sake cup. I had to delete this app because it got to the point where I knew what card the AI would “magically” pick up and win the round.

  • CPU absolutely cheats

the random algorithm of this game is not random and the CPU absolutely gets the draws.
  • Exactly what you’re looking for!

    Honestly the best hanafuda experience!
  • It was better

There’s too many ads now but I still like it
  • Difficult Endless Koi Koi

Not a very balanced game. Since the goal is to accumulate as many life points as possible to keep playing, the AI will constantly make choices to whittle away your life points no matter how little. It will not make reckless moves or consider to give you a chance.

The game is okay for people who want to play on a really difficult version of koi koi but it stops being fun after 100 games.

Too many ads with little reward. The AI ‘coincidentally’ gets better combos than you do and revs up in aggression/luck when you get near S-rank (120 points). I made it to 116 points in one round with 50+ life and the AI began winning over and over until it was 0.

  • CPU seems a little too lucky

I love this app, and I love that it’s in English. The painting collection is a fun little gimmick that I don’t mind — I like seeing artwork that I haven’t seen before! My only complaint is that the CPU seems to be a little *too* lucky. I understand that the game isn’t only luck based, and is also strategy based. However, it is not uncommon for me to play several rounds in a row with complete garbage in my hand, whereas the CPU has a wonderful hand and wins almost immediately, giving me no chance to win. It makes me question if the cards are actually dealt at random or not.
Other than that, it’s still fun and challenging to play, and I love the game.

  • Fun

This actually is pretty fun. It is a bit of luck that you need for the cards but you definitely can win if you pay attention to the cards that are played and the combinations that you need to win.
  • Lucky bastard AI

The game is all about luck of the draw and playing the right cards, but i hate the stupid points system, i would much rather a best 4/5 or something, i don’t mind that people play like that, but i wish they’d give more options. something else that’d be nice is a more customizable playing top, maybe instead of tatami give the option for a table? or maybe on cobblestone and such, it’s a good game with lots of potential. I feel like the AI could use work as well, as sometimes I feel like it’s just the right level of challenging and sometimes I feel like it’s just cut throat, I feel like a few different types of game modes would be nice.

    Ex:

Casual, best 2/3 - 5/6 type of deal, nothing crazy, and give that gamemode an easy or ballsy AI.

Competitive, the game we have now, gives you rewards in the form of commissions, which are only achieved via competitive, but you have lives and points which wouldn’t be present in the casual.

Online, as the name suggests find a way to make it multiplayer, i’d recommend letting people have the options of Moon/Blossom viewing in the multiplayer menu because I can see how some people would get tired of that quickly.
