When someone close to you dies, Depart helps you keep track of the many important details surrounding their death such as knowing when different tasks need to complete with the ability to set reminders, share your plan with others to get help in carrying out the wishes of the deceased, reduce the cost of settling an estate through tips that will help you save money in the process. TRACK TASKS Track all estate settlement tasks by either timeline they are due or by category such as physical assets or funeral planning. SET REMINDERS Set reminders so that important tasks are completed on time. INVITE AND DELEGATE Invite others to participate in the tasks to settle an estate. Delegate specific tasks for other to complete. GLOSSARY Glossary of terms such as beneficiary or executor helps you understand the language of estate settlement. HELPFUL RESOURCES Additional resources let you find out more about funeral costs, obituary writing, green burial and provide tips to speed the process or save money during this difficult time.
