Synthmaster 2 still one of the best on iOS
Thank you KVR331 team, the preset selection is now back to its normal fast response.

The latest iOS18 update has rendered this app unusable if you want to use MIDI Program Change or just manual selection…..be prepared to wait up to 1 minute for the change to happen!
No response from the KVR331 support even after numerous bug reports and forum requests to fix this issue.

Preset management is a buggy nightmare
The synth parts of this app are great and lots of fun. Would give that 5 stars, but when you start trying to save and manage your own presets the nightmare begins. The browser is horribly confusing and buggy when it comes to user presets. So many weird glitchy behaviors. There seems to be a fundamental very basic bug with how banks are associated with patches. The patches sort by name but don’t always reflect that. The lists have weird selection bugs where sometime multiple things show as selected and you can’t unselect. Hard to figure out how to delete an old version of a preset. When you do finally discover the delete option it seems like it can only delete entire banks? Also deleting a preset seems to delete all copies of it? Moving presets between banks is way harder than it should be. The UI lets you select and drag presets around. Great! But dropping them into different preset banks does nothing. Very frustrating to have hours of work on a preset ruined by weird deletion, sorting, and bank management behavior.

Great sounding IOS synth, but…
It’s a great sounding synth, but it’s totally broken when it comes to round-trip functionality in Logic between iOS and Mac. So uninstalled…

Synthmaster 2 for ipad is so expansive, I haven’t even had a chance to check it all out yet. Everything I have done, so far, has sounded great and was exactly what I was looking for from Synthmaster. I’m going to be tweaking knobs and sounds for awhile with this app. Synthmaster 2 is great! - Grey F♾️l

SynthMaster 2 not recording inside of DAW
Hi there I am having issues when using SynthMaster 2 inside of DAW(BeatMaker 3) I want to record a sample I made with SynthMaster in to the daw and there is a big delay before it starts to record I have checked this with other AUv3 3 plugins and all works in others when recording in side the DAW can some one help with this plz thank u

Every Korg, Moog, AudioKit, apesoft, Yonac, VirSyn, as well as the 100’s of others.
I will say SynthMaster 2 sounds as good as the big boys on my Mac Silicon and Windows 11 !!!
I just seen that SynthMaster 3 is in beta (God I wish I could have been a tester and make killer patches) oh well!
Buy this Synth if you haven’t already, I promise it’s the best sounding synth on iPad and the control is like NO OTHER on iOS

Great sounding IOS synth, but…
This is my favourite IOS synth for sound and deep programming. There a cloud sync feature to sync presets between VST and IOS…. And then they blow it all by breaking Logic Pro round-trip functionality. When you open a Logic Project it can’t find SynthMaster 2. Every other app at least opens in Logic but not this one. It ends up being such a pain I just don’t use it any more, which is a real shame. If everyone else can do this KV331, so can you…. Come on!

Absolutely stunned by the high performance of this synthesiser
I’ve been shopping around for sometime for a quality synthesiser to use as an (AUv3) plugin on Logic Pro for iPad. I misguidedly first downloaded a £20 app that has received a lot of hype in 2024. Unfortunately it was so unstable as an AUv3 plugin I quickly got a refund from Apple and with a more careful approach decided to purchase SynthMaster 2. Todate I’ve had no issues with stability in Logic Pro on the iPad and I’m continually stunned by the awesome power of this quality product. A big thank you to KV331 for such a fantastic and powerful AUv3 plugin. TM

Over the years I have collected dozens and dozens of synth apps (all the latest) on my iPad which I use in Cubasis3, but out of all of them Synthmaster 2 is the most used and useful synth for every category of sound required, whether it be all out electronic to jazz, blues or rock tracks - SM2 fits the bill and is my preferred go to app.
