Description of Bassliner

Bassliner is a programmer for the Behringer TD-3 Analog Bass Line Synthesizer. The app doesn't make sound by itself and is designed to be used with the hardware. Connect your iOS device to the TD-3 with USB cable and get full access of all patterns on the device. Get a visual view of your patterns and edit them with ease. You can load, edit and save your edited patterns and hear your changes as you edit when the synthesizer is running. You will need a USB cable and the Apple Lightning to USB-A or Apple USB-C to USB-A adapter depending on the port of your iPad or iPhone. Disclaimer: Drum Machine Funk is not affiliated with Behringer in any way and is an independent developer designing apps to leverage the full potential of your music hardware.

Reviews of Bassliner

  • Bassliner was the answer

I love the sound of the TD-3. I hated trying to program it. Bought this app today for my iPhone 12 and just spent the past hour jamming with my TD-3. Creating bass lines, modifying them as I went, and saving them in the TD-3 was easy. Getting ready to dig up my last cell phone (Motorola) and charge it so I can buy the Android version & keep a designated controller with my work station.
  • Needs transpose options

    It’s great.
It really is the key to unlocking the usefulness of the TD-3, with an iPad.
Much easier to create/edit/manage sequences, than the TD-3 hardware alone.
Can edit the sequences, and hear the changes in real time, with the iPad, while adjusting the sounds, on the TD-3. Sweet!

Just needs ability to transpose sequences, and would get 5 stars from me.
  • Efficient

Makes editing so much easier and faster. If you can tweak it a bit to work with the td3 MO even better.
