Reviews of Pulse Oximetry

Not compatible with any real pulse oximeters

This is ONLY compatible with the little finger ones, not a real one. I have a massimo rad 97, very common one to have, with Bluetooth enabled, and the app doesn’t give that as an option. Waste of money!!!!!

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. While the Masimo Rad-97 does have Bluetooth connectivity it is not used to transfer data from the Rad-97 to a mobile or other data reception device. It's only used to receive Bluetooth data from compatible devices, such as thermometers, glucometers, and weight scales, so that this data can be transferred to connected upstream systems, like Masimo's Patient SafetyNet. Please refer to the list of supported devices at https://www.appinlights.com/pulseoximetry/

Not as advertised

Cannot use iPhone to get O2 level. There is no option to select phone as device, only external 3rd party meters. Not at all what I wanted and paid $3.99 on App Store. Looks like no way to get refund. Not pleased at all.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that the app description clearly states that a compatible Bluetooth pulse oximeter is required to use this app. Having said that, the description will be updated with the next version release to clearly indicate that the mobile device's camera is not supported to take measurements. Also, please contact Apple support for a full refund. This is so that they can also remove the app from your app locker to prevent further downloads. Thank you again.

Very useful app!!

This app does exactly what I needed. It traces and displays my data and without a need to create an account. My medical information is safe with this app!!
