Highly Recommend
I never write review for apps, but I’ve paid for and used several macro trackers over the years, and this one outshines them by miles. I love the user friendly aspects of this app, and how easy it is to scan barcodes to instantly get the macro. Also, OBSESSED with the recipes they provide. I hate cooking, and have never been great at making a tasty meal (especially one that is healthy) but I have been cooking and meal prepping like crazy with this app and every single meal has been delicious! Even my husband enjoys the meals. They list out the ingredients easily, so shopping for groceries is a breeze, and I love that you can edit/customize the meals and still get accurate macros. I highly recommend this app 👏🏼

Best app I've ever used
I have tried them all. I was a MFP user since they first came out. However over time they have gone downhill. After they started limiting more and more features I began my search for a new app. I tried LoseIt, Calorie Counter, Cronometer, etc - none were user friendly or limited access to features I love (like the scanning feature). Macrostat not only has the scanning feature on their free version, but they are the most user friendly app I have ever used. I love how it shows the macros not only daily but for each meal. I can adjust ingredients very easily from the main screen. If I want more protein from a certain ingredient, I can just adjust the protein and it tells me what serving size I need. Overall I'm very impressed and I hope these features remain free.

Renewed without warning after cancellation
Renewed without warning even though I had previously cancelled. Only gave me a 50% refund. And the app is nothing special. Go elsewhere. There are better options with better service out there.

Renews without informing you and charges an absurd amount. Not worth a cent. Horrible experience.
Do not sign up
This organisation just takes your money. No reminders. They just bill you. Please be careful about signing up. Make sure you cancel well in advance and remember when your billing cycle is because they won’t email you, or send any reminders. Oh and no refunds of course.

Shiftiest organisation ever when it comes to renewals. No reminders whatsoever, then charge large sums to you card and say it’s your fault because this happening is buried in the terms and conditions and that you are expected to remember. Clearly most people will forget and get caught out by this. Sign up at your peril, but put a reminder in your calendar to cancel with plenty of time.

I’m a 40 yr old mother of a 4 year old and a 6 month old. Never did I think I’d be able to look and feel the way I did pre pregnancy. Until I started on Macrostax! They take all the guess work out on how and when to adjust your macros and even have endless recipes to keep your nutrition fun and exciting. I’m now leaner and healthier than I was before children and fitter than I was in my 20’s!

Can’t do without it
I had Macrostax and then I quit it. I thought I could do without it and save a few bucks. I’ve made a few poor decisions in my life and this was one of them. Macrostax took out the guesswork for me in reaching my fat loss and later muscle gain goals. The recipes are DELICIOUS, and simple, and economic. The nutritionist are super quick and engaging to respond in the chat. And when you hit your green thumbs, that celebratory confetti on the screen is a real dopamine producer. This app beats any other of the big ones in market. The cost is a nominal investment for a big payout just a few weeks into your program. Macrostax is great for beginners and pro athletes alike!

Macrostax is a life changer
Takes all the guess work out of what macros you should be aiming for. Stax chat is available to talk to you if you have any problems or questions. There is great support and encouragement in the Facebook group as well. Macrostax is a community that wants you to hit your goals and will provide all the resources you need to do so.
The logging feature is so user friendly and the scanner works great as well. I love the “copy yesterdays meal” feature. All of the recipes are amazing as well. I am two weeks into following my macros and I feel so much better, I have lost 3 pounds and can tell a difference in my body. It really works

Web based version was perfect, hate it now
I signed up for Macrostax about a year and a half ago and really loved it. I was able to do weekly planning on the website, create custom recipes, and then use the ‘app’ to makes adjustments on the fly during the week. Loved it so much I joined as a lifetime member just before they launched their new app. Now there is no web version and trying to plan everything on my phone is too cumbersome, eye straining, and many previous features have been removed. The company should have surveyed current users to determine most requested features and implemented them before launching the new app. Now most recipes aren’t available with weight measurements (this is the easiest way for me to cook and serve), and the fill my macros feature still hasn’t been added back. I’ve asked many times for the web version to be reinstated and they say there are no plans for that, but they made sure to add a calculator for counting booze. Priorities are obviously way off.
At least I’m a lifetime member and will hopefully be able to use the app again when new changes come.
