Start by downloading the Winnipeg Transit On-Request app, then create an account using your name, phone number and email address. Confirm your location and input your destination to book a trip. When you book a trip, you’ll be given a pick-up time and walking directions to a set pick-up/drop-off location in your neighbourhood. You’ll be able to track your ride in real time. If you are calling in, provide the same information to the 311 representative who will give you step by step instructions. Who is driving the buses? Professionally-trained Winnipeg Transit bus operators will be driving the On-Request buses. How long will I wait? Wait times are expected to be between 5 and 20 minutes. Wait times may vary depending on the number of customers booking rides, the location of the On-Request buses, as well as traffic and weather conditions.
