Rubbish !!!
This used to be a brilliant door security camera systems but the poor quality of the app updates have totally ruined what was a brilliant system - Steinel should be ashamed of the poor quality of the software updates - amazingly they are still selling this as a fully functioning system - it isn’t - time for Steinel to get there act together - I always thought that German products were top notch …….this isn’t nowShow lessMH31234;:/3@@@
Does what i wanted to do
The camera set up well. In the early morning (01:28) following the camera installation it captured the image of an attempted car theft from our the drive! The thief ran walked away when the light captured him. Video evidence provided to the Police. The only issue I have is that the notifications has a 5 second delay but understand why. That is why it received 4 stars. All in all it is a good security light and camera. Recommend it.Show lessMacnos
App and ios
Seems everytime there is an ios update or an app update the company cannot get the notification alert working for weeks at a time. Cam records and is accessible but the alert notification function is NOT working again! No point of a security cam if it is not doing its job. Seem Steinel do this all the time play about with the app forgetting the most important function is the alert notification. Please fix this and in the future when messing about with the app/ios make sure the alert notification function is the priority not a fanciful layout.Show lessDlein1
Old app is better
Too many bugs. Every time I try to view my camera I have to let it load for about 30 seconds, but it’s just black until I click the settings cog. Not really useful if you need it quickly. Will be going back to the old app.Ellen Uns

The old cam app worked just fine since the cam 2 app came out my camera hasn’t and refuses to work! Why must every company fck around with things? Jobs for the boys I guess? Well here’s my advice if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!fog machine
Difficult to set up and use
I was unable to add Steinel L620 camera using this app. Had to add it to an older app then install this one and finally paste the details over. Once set up I had to remove the old app or get notifications twice. Why did I install the new app, well I had no video on the old app!!!PDF001

Badly prepared
My old Cam L600 worked without a hitch. My new L620 has been nothing but trouble. Now a firmware upgrade is supposed to fix everything. If I could only get it to load without disabling my camera it would help. Yet another bug?ydnac2
Reduced functionality and reliability
Unless the new version presents a quick view of recordings as Vertical Red Lines (which the previous version had) informing you when the camera was activated visually and quickly, I will not use this version. Version 2 is clearly a backward step for many users. Also why FORCE us to change with an annoying moanware😡Show lessGerdsooz
