It’s not helpful
You can only send a text if the person is already in your contacts. If you want to send a text to a person that is not in your contacts, you have to put them in your contacts first and that’s a lot of work.Developer Response
This issue has been fixed in a recent updateGet something else you still have to send a glorified alarm clock
You still have to actually send it. Not worth a durnThis is a game changer for this ADHDer!!!
Seriously, where have you been all my life? I have scheduled text messages going out to my teens in the morning and in the evening, Monday through Friday. When I have the brain capacity to actually think through something (which comes in spurts), I sit down and type out chores, reminders, etc and schedule them for the future. Not only does this keep me from having to harp on my kids, but it is a great reminder for me as well.
I do understand the complaints that they don't automatically send - you get a notification to send the message at the scheduled time and you have to manually send it. I didn't like this at first, but it has actually worked out better for me because I end up reading through it again and it has kept ME and my chores on task as well!
I would also like to mention that I have tried calendars and other apps to help with chores and reminders, but if you have teenagers you know that text messaging is their language. Nothing else has worked for us.
Also, I reached out to the creator regarding an issue and he/she (?) responded back to me very quickly and I saw that it was fixed within a week. That one minor problem (which was major to me) brought this from a 4 star to a 5.Show lessHAHAAAA…What is this? 🤣
Android has had scheduled text messages feature since Android OS 7.0 released in 2016. Why is Apple is so far behind this basic technology.
So iPhn users have to use a 3rd party app as a wonky work around? This app from what I’ve read requires senders to confirm scheduled messages before it can be sent. Uh? Hello? Then what’s the point?
I’m an Android user (only have iPhn for work) and scheduled messages are just sent when requested without the user’s input. It’s a superb feature. Particularly helpful for those of us who forget b-day’s, anniversaries, holiday well wishes, texting ppl in other time zones, etc. You can schedule a message with an Android device as far into future as you want, as long as it’s at least 6-minutes ahead of the actual time.
Hmm…Apple really need a come up. 😂Show lessMisleading app
This app not only didn’t send messages on a scheduled time, but when you do send messages it’s not smart enough to send individual messages and instead creates a group conversation. Completely misrepresented itself on here and waste $59Developer Response
Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to apologize for the misunderstanding. Kyew enables you to plan messages and then signals you to send them at the scheduled time. Due to safety concerns, apps cannot automatically send messages on without explicit user consent. Sending messages individually would be a useful option - good idea. Please do reach out to us so we can assist you in obtaining a full refund. No free option remaining
Used to be able to have limited functionality with the app and while not perfect it was helpful to schedule texts and confirm right before sending them out. Even without the premium features there was some solid utility
Now there simply is no free functionality, very disappointingDeveloper Response
Thank you for your feedback. The app still contains the same free option and it offers the same set of basic features as it did before. The app received a huge overhaul in recent months, which introduced user interface changes. We apologize for the confusion and will do our best to use your feedback and improve the app.Doesn’t appear to work
Doesn’t appear to actually send time delayed messagesNot user friendly
I have installed the app and the shortcut and still cannot schedule messages. When I click on the help button it kicks me out of the app. Not a great experienceDeveloper Response
Thank you for your message. We address your concerns below: (1) There is no shortcut extension associated with this app. Once you enable notifications and schedule messages, you will receive alerts when it's time to send. (2) Thanks for reporting this bug. At first glance, this seems to happen when the Mail app isn't installed. We will add an alternative contact method or support more email apps. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to help improve the app.Schedule texts did not send automatic
Thats what happened.Fantastic App for personal use
Love that it’s not totally automated. The notifications prior to sending allow last minute updates to make texts more timely and personal. It’s also key that texts are sent from my phone number not some third party number like many othe similar SMS Scheduler apps. This is not. robo-marketing app which is perfect for my use. I can plan out texts I want to send in one sitting the evening before schedule them and then can tweak them just before sending. I’m way too busy to be texting all day. Also great for Birthday and Anniversary Reminders.Show less
