A promising start
That said, the game feels very unfinished in other aspects. Other than one UI sound effect I noticed, there doesn’t seem to be any audio whatsoever, which really takes away from immersion. There also aren’t very many levels, and when I got to what I assume is the end, it just looped right back to the beginning with no fanfare or anything, as if the first level was the next level. Another thing that feels unfinished is that there are coins you can pick up, but I haven’t actually found any except for in one small part of one level, and I don’t see any point in collecting them as there doesn’t seem to be anything to spend them on.
However, this brings me right to something I really liked about this app: at no point did I run into any form of monetization whatsoever. I don’t think there were even unobtrusive ads; none at all unless I’m forgetting somewhere. So I really can’t be harsh on this game. It has the potential to be something really great. Maybe it would be better off on TestFlight until it’s had some more work done on it, though I guess it’s good to have as big of an audience as possible, and it’s not like you’re making us sit through ads or pushing us to spend money. So I think four stars is fair.
