We found a bug in the User Interface after updating to the latest iOS. This affected the material data page and cutting setup page. For example, trying to override the depth of cut, the keyboard would often remain on screen and entering a new value was difficult. This version corrects that issue.

December 4, 2022

Discovered and corrected a bug related to finish passes on side milling profiles. The issue improperly allows a last finish pass without the offset code when the depth of cut per finish pass is less than final depth. The problem could be observed when viewing the simulation. Slightly better efficiency in conditions where the finish passes have a depth of cut less than final depth.

1) We found an issue where it is possible to tap on the far left side of the screen in a way that can cause the app to switch to the previous menu, lock up, or temporarily appear to lose data. This has been corrected. 2) Face mill tools accepted a cutting edge length of zero to be set. This would cause the app to become stuck or crash during calculations. This has been corrected. 3) Face mill tool menu will now automatically assume an edge length based on diameters and angle if its current length is zero and angle is less than 90. 4) Correction made to the Face mill illustration in the tooling menu. 5) A bug that can cause the simulation to crash while modeling volume was corrected.

1) Improved 3D Tool Mesh Representation. Not obvious with most tools yet. The probe is no longer one color. 2) Drills should appear full length in 3D unless set to "spinner" representation. Not just the tip. 3) Improved speed of simulation preparation. 4) Fixed a DXF import bug were lines where not being imported. 5) Fixed a condition allowing "none" to exit on the wrong side with tool offset engaged. 6) Found and corrected a geometry combination in "Custom Contour" that can produce an incorrect path. 7) Selecting "Edit" when no DXF file is loaded no longer results in a crash. 8) Fixed some user interface issues that had previously resulted in crashes. Example: setting number of holes needed to zero in "#Holes Along A" in the Square pattern menu no longer crashes. 9) An attempt to create a groove path with no possible path solution should no longer crash. 10) A bug resulted in user specified units only providing conversions for whole numbers on input lines. This has been corrected and decimal values will convert. 11) A bug in the Tool Version Update that could cause a crash at startup has been fixed.

1) Free Calculator added. Basic calculations could already be done on most input fields. This adds another option with a familiar calculator interface. Subscribers will find the calculator is easily accessible throughout the app from the Info icon. Also doubles as a notepad. With notes and calculations conveniently retained in memory and accessible across your devices. Easy to copy and paste results or share. Converts decimal numbers to fractions as well as metric/english conversions. 2) Mill and Drill calculators now display a visual tool representation. 3) A bug in the Drill Calc allowed drill calculations to appear in red as if exceeding machine limits. This was due to assuming the crib data from an active program yet didn't account for when no program is selected. This has been fixed. 4) Drill Calc now displays point depth. 5) The toolbar is de-cluttered and the info icon now accesses the instruction manual, privacy document, and calculator depending on the screen. 6) IPad: documents now auto-size to fit the window. Can still be scaled.

IPad Subscription Crash Fixed. Sorry that got past us. Caught by App Review. Found and corrected a bug where a top radius applied to a 2.5 side was not generating proper code resulting in the radius not being cut. Added promo video to Docs. Minor revision to approach path of groove mill. This lets it tangent arc in and off the path in smaller bores. Bore groove chamfering now recognized for grooves for existing bore. Previously was only selecting chamfer tools when also selecting tools for creating the bore.

The previous version needed to be resubmitted and may have inadvertently had a test flag set by the time it was resent. This version ensures the setting is correct.

Fixed a bug that could cause the simulator to temporarily flip the tool offset and appear to gouge a part in certain conditions despite the G-Code being correct.

1) The in-app tutorial video is now hosted on the web rather than on the device. This is to reduce app size, improve video quality (as we reduced it to limit size), and eventually include more tutorials. The only downside is that the video is no longer available offline. 2) Fixed a condition that could allow a face mill to make a redundant last roughing pass. 3) Minor adjustment to cutting simulation performance.
