Trip and driving related data captured by driveEDR may be shared with your insurer in order to comply with the conditions of your driving insurance policy. Always Using App Location Permission: driveEDR requires this Location permission so that it is able to automatically capture GPS related information concerning your vehicle journeys once it connects to the in-vehicle Bluetooth device even if the driveEDR is not open in the device screen.
