Description of Perdisco

Currently available languages - English - Dutch Perdisco uses a smart algorithm based on the ‘forgetting curve’, which hypothesizes the decline of memory retention in time. When you make a mistake, the training tool repeats the question at the right time until you remember. The gamification elements within Perdisco, like positive feedback, keep you motivated and improve your skills in a playful manner. Perdisco is a digital tool and platform to help you perform better in both subjects. Perdisco is co-developed by a teacher of Ancient Latin & Greek with a MA degree. The tests and exercises are checked, accurate and consist of the necessary learning material used by most schools. Perdisco is divided into three main topics: translation, grammar and culture. All three are essential for learning Ancient Latin and Greek. Perdisco is fast and responsive. Our software developer with a MSc degree takes great care in continuously optimizing Perdisco’s technology. Therefore, Perdisco runs fast and efficient with little to almost no storage required. Reviews of Perdisco

Accent errors

Accents for the 1st Declension noun ψυχή are incorrect in the drills. Having a tool to drill grammatical case is cool in theory, though. Not sure about accent issues with other Greek words in the app, but keep an eye out.

Not for beginners

Hiw am I supposed to use this if I can’t read the Greek? Why don’t you teach the alphabet and basic pronunciation? This single starting point is missing from all of the current Ancient Greek language apps. Please give us a leg up and add this to the app. Thanks for considering.

Difficult for beginners

I was looking for something to help me learn greek while i was in an ancient greek class. This is much too hard for even an intermediate learner.
