Wonderful gift
This app is a beautiful way to soak in the Word with soothing and beautiful music. Thank you so much for putting this out there. Everyone that plays is so talented. The music is excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is that it would be great to put the text of the root verse (and version), not the lyrical interpretation, but the actual Word, in the main image that shows as you play the song. It is kind of wasted space and sometimes it is hard to understand a few parts of the lyrical interpretation. Thank you! God blessShow lesstrichy_situation
A great resource but could be better
This is really helpful but it would be much more useful if it showed the lyrics. I first came across this project in a YouVersion devotional and it displayed the verses as the song was playing. I was disappointed to see that is not the case in the app. I am hard of hearing and it is difficult to understand the words. But still, it’s a great resource worth supporting!Show lessWood John
Music to my ears! However…
I love the app but feel the same way as others. I am a visual learner so I need the lyrics while listening in order to help me learn the scriptures. Thanks for all the artists who contributed to the app. It’s a beautiful way to lean the scriptures!ahonugirl

The YouVersion app showcased your app and I was excited to download. However, I was disappointed to find that none of the verses in your app show verses or a background scenery like YouVersion did. Are you planning on updating app to show verses and beautiful scenery? God Bless!chukon

So happy to find this resource, but…
So stoked to have found this! Have thought for awhile that I wish someone was doing something like this, and yet someone one has all along! Although I’m a bit bummed to find it just has the Bible reference number, but unless you look up the reference separately or listen to the song, you don’t actually know what the verse is. That would be amazing if it would have written verse as well.
There’s often times I look up a topic (depending on what I’m going through or need encouragement with) to find a verse to meditate on and to carry w/me throughout the day, and it would be amazing to be able to look up a song by topic and then see what that verse is without having to look it up separately!
Scripture has always been more powerful to me by reading it, but then it can help cement it and memorize it by hearing it in song. But when I hear Christian song that maybe has lyrics in it based off scripture, it’s hard for me to remember it unless I see them written down first. Thanks! :)Show lessDancelikedavid

This is a super cool app and the music is great! Verses are already sticking in my head better than me trying to memorize on my own. I found out about this through the youversion bible app and there was a song played there, which had the scripture written out as well, so we could read the scripture as we listen to the song. I think this would be super useful in the app as well, or mentioning which bible version is used in each song. Hearing and reading at the same time is very helpful for me. The best music in a simple format easy to use and already helping me memorize verses to a lovely tune. Is there a way to put all these songs on shuffle? Would love for this just to play all day! May God Bless you all!🐝 Lovely
