Description of Wayne Bergeron Play

This app joins the Fuzzy Music “Mintzer” and “Erskine” titles to bring more big band experience to everyone, anywhere. While most “play-along” products allow for the user to “music-minus” two or three tracks max, this app allows the user to minus (or solo) multiple instrument tracks (11) for each tune in any combination. Each chart/part can be printed or emailed from the app. There are 12 songs in the app, played by an all-star group of L.A.-based players, arranged by Tom Kubis with trumpeter Wayne Bergeron leading the charge.

  • You want this app

Amazing audio quality in the recorded band and a great EQ.
  • Won’t email mixdown

This app will not save/email the mixdown. It shows the “mixing wheel”, and it gets to about 6/8ths the way through, but will never finish. Good app, but what’s the point of it if we can’t email the mixdown to ourselves? That means there is no way to save outside the app nor save to any other way to listen. I’ll change my rating if fixed but I can’t get ahold of the app developer

  • Trombone Players Will Love This App

This app and set of big band charts written, arranged, and performed by world class jazz musicians will delight high school, college, weekend warriors, semi-pros, and pros a like. The app is simple to use, beautifully recorded, and has the original parts (lead and bass bone) exactly what Tom’s band would read on the gig. Get your kicks playing through this set and as the great Wayne Bergeron suggests, play through these like your were playing with your own hometown band. You will get back in playing shape in no time. There is a mixer that allows to isolate or eliminate parts. And you can take any solo you want. But don’t miss your chance to hear these marvelous players improvise as well! Plus, you can even record yourself with the band and print out your parts.
