Helpful feedback
I have found the 3D swing analysis with reference ranges for professionals very helpful in my quest to develop a better golf swing. Having the concrete data helps me focus on useful improvements for my swing. All swings are different so trying to emulate a particular image of a pro golfer with a beautiful swing can lead many down the wrong path. Additionally the modules have been a great addition to my practice.

Great App for Coaching
I've been using Sportsbox in all my lessons for over a year. I always record a video to start a new session and upload it onto the app to check the numbers. There's a lot of data to comb through, and honestly I'm not sure it's always 100% accurate, but I've learned that the most important metrics like sway and turn, definitely are.
I look at those first, figure out a way to work on it, practice it for a bit, then record a new swing to see if we're making any changes in the right direction.
I've got many students away in college who are able to send me a slomo video that I can then upload onto the app and get great info from. 2D video can be tough to use for online coaching because the student's are always moving the angle around quite a bit. With Sportsbox they can be close enough and I can get a great idea of what they're doing with their body.
Sportsbox is always improving, so while I don't think the app is perfect yet, I know that they are investing and making it better all the time.

Advanced help!
I've experimented with many golf apps in my pursuit of learning to be my own golf coach. They all seem to offer something. Sportsbox AI is head and shoulders above any I've tried. Plus they continue to make improvements, add features to make it a must have. If you're serious about swing analysis this is a must!!

Subscription model now
Everything in the new update is subscription based - uninstalled. Too bad - had major potential.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Our app has always been subscription based, even prior to the new updates. Were you with us before the update, what plan were you on? I’d like to try and assist, it could be a minor product issue. The free version of the app is to showcase our technology and analyze the sample sessions with all of the 3D data available to view. We have a variety of plans available for all golfers at different price points. Incredible - a complete game-changer
Sportsbox is the real deal! I’m not normally one to write reviews, but this app is by far and away my favourite golf app, and it’s simply revolutionary. After years of checking my positions in the swing when looking in a mirror, or recording my swing and watching it back … all very useful, but now I can record my swing and check what’s really going on when I’m hitting balls…. giving me the exact positions with incredible accuracy. Like a Trackman for the swing! I honestly would not have thought it possible to do what it can do, from just my iPhone, so easy to use. Now my practice time is so much better spent. I can check to see if I’m really making the progress I think I am for whatever I’m working on….no more guesswork. It’s like having a coach right next to me!

Powerful and easy to use
I have had a Sportsbox subscription for 6 months now and have found it an immensely useful tool. The amount of data available is great and being able to compare against tour calibre numbers is really helpful. There are so many useful features and it is improving all the time via new data points etc. I find the video capture simple and then the App does the rest, it is amazing how much 3D information is calculated from one video. On a couple of occasions I have contacted the support team to ask questions and on both occasions I received prompt replies with helpful and detailed information. The whole experience has been first rate. Keep up the good work !

Best instructional assistant
For those of you that teach golf this is THE BEST of all available for video reference. The information provided through the 3D model is so far ahead of the normal video. You can still draw the lines and stay old school but the rotational numbers for hips and shoulders the data for spine bend and tilt are amazing. I switched and will not look back. Make the move today
