Why the sudden change to ads after a PVP match. Half the reason I play this game was because I could grind PVP ad free. Big L on your part game designers.Humajaj

Offering pay to win at $160 for a single unit, absolutely ridiculous blocks on levels (been playing daily for a few months and still can’t upgrade past level 15). Single player playing against AI that has the maxed highest version so every single level needs a booster. Used to be fun. Made it to level 1200 or so, deleting now.Show lessfrustrated836583

Until I hit a level where I have to buy stuff to move up.
Sooo when I am trying to do PVP, I can no longer win without buying things to move up.

The game is really fun, but since the couple latest updates, it became more and more laggy on iPhone 14 pro max… it is almost unplayable now…
Please make a « better performances » option or optimize the game.Marm_

There is no PVP play. It takes a while to unlock that mode. And a little longer before you unlock everything. At that point it’s constant ads all the time to do anything. But back to the pvp. I’ve been playing for weeks and not once has any other person used the special attacks on me. Ans why do they all predictably give me a head start. And how does it make sense that I can close the app and resume the battle 10 minutes later. Most telling. The pvp still works even when on airplane mode.
Then the vip no ads that can be bought doesn’t actually turn the ads off. It only allows you to spin for extra rewards without ads. Regular ads after each fight still happen.
And there is no way that they ever charged $360 for a single unit. So pretending that we are getting a special deal at $126 for a single unit is just trying to trick player into spending g way to much money.
They know most people won’t play this game long term. So they try to get big purchases made in one go rather than smaller purchases or subscriptions over time.
Sure they can make the app however they want. But I find it extra sleazy that they try to pretend that we are playing against other people. Even to the point of randomly posting “chat” emojis. And assigning fake names and country’s.Show lessCalebj204

Easy enjoyable game, after about 7 levels the ads are constant, really ruins the game when the ads are after each level. Spend more time watching ads than i do playing the game itself.Lukano444

Often back to back ads running, sometimes even multiple at the same time. Can’t get into groove of playing as virtually unplayable without being constantly interrupted.DatBoiRobb

The game is alright but in a facade, the PvP isn’t real, if you load offline you can still play the PvP stuff even though you can’t be playing against someone in real time123Glaceon

Downloaded this and started playing, was fun for a while but as the difficulty increases you have to upgrade your units to be competitive. This requires endless grinding to amass enough gems to summon units that you can destroy to upgrade units or you can pay £50 or so to bypass that and get a quick upgrade token.
The pay to win mechanic gets even worse in PvP, there are certain units that can only be obtained by spending £100 each (supposedly discounted down from £300). These special units have special abilities that mean if you don’t pay you really struggle to compete.
So overall the game itself is quite fun but it’s ruined by massively expensive in-app purchases.Show lessAp0k

Update: I got a response from the developer: “Hello, dear Sinnsix! Thank you for reporting this problem with our tower war tactical game. This whole game experience is like buying a new phone from a shady dealer for $30. You hope it’s the real thing, but you are disappointed that it wasn’t real, more so you are disappointed in yourself for believing it might be real in the first place. 1st review: I don’t believe this game has this many positive reviews. No one would stick around long enough to get past the ads. The game looks fun, when I can play it. My phone gets smoking hot after a few minutes. Not sure why, plenty of other games play fine. Worst part? A few minutes of gameplay, and ads that are just as long as the gameplay. It feels like you are playing a game during an ad, not watching an ad between gameplay. I would spend the money to pay for no ads, only I know every booster and every other feature of the game will be ad supported. No thanks. Deleting the game after this review.Show lessSinnsix
