I Love it But One Thing I Don’t Like..

I love this game a lot! It’s so calming and I love the animations. The cats are so cute and there is so many building options! I am really happy I downloaded this I have no regrets! This is not really considered a regret because every game has at least one thing most people don’t like.. I just don’t like the fact the when you first downloaded it you have a lot to do, so you are very busy having fun..But then you have to wait for your cats to make the soup, shred the carrots and lettuce, and even wait for them to stop jumping on the trampoline. Now that’s fine but I am trying to say that I wish there were more activities to do then just wait for your cats. If you don’t know what to add here are some things that I recommend: fun games you can play while you’re waiting for your cats to finish making soup, so after you’re done playing fun games you can get a lot of coins from your cats. That’s all I recommend for now I might have more ideas later, nor I am still thinking. But hopefully you add this of course you do not have to, but I would love some cute mini games you could play while your cats can work! Bye! 💞

Art is fantastic monetization is not

Game looks good, gameplay looks good

One glance at the shop, it’s offerings, and what you can get for free. Instantly I don’t feel like playing anymore

I get it, you need to make money, but unless you’re a full blown gacha with actual gameplay don’t expect people to drop more than 10 bucks in total.

If the game were for 5-10 bucks on purchase then all the fancy unlocks were progress based I’d play this game until the end of time

Adorable but a lot of ads

I love the premise of the game and the animations are really cute, the cats are calming to watch. However, in playing a ~30 minute session you have to watch at least 10 minutes watching ads which really takes away from the experience.

If the ads could be toned down a bit in frequency I think it would make the game SO much more enjoyable.

I really want to play more but the ads make it annoying.

It’s ok

It just needs something more…but not sure what. The image needs to be allowed in landscape mode, not just portrait mode. The picture needs to be clearer or sharper? The dish selling is deceiving. You think you’re getting the amount that shows under the dish on the counter. You’re not , you’re only getting a few cents for each dish. So why bother putting a dollar amount underneath it? There’s no real rhyme or reason to game, except to expand and cook etc. There’s no explanation to anything, thankfully, most of it you can figure out. You also don’t need friends, which takes away the stress of finding them and checking to see if they play anymore. Thankfully it’s a mindless game to play when you’re bored. There are no events, either, that I can see. They do have red dots showing that you’re supposed to check things out on lists in upper right hand corner, for tabs. But when you check them, they never go away. Also the ads do get annoying too, after awhile wanting you to purchase stuff. So while it’s a cute idea. The execution needs something more, unfortunately, I’m not sure what!

It

Could actually be relaxing except for the constant barrage of ads and premium features

Good soup 🤌🏻

This game is so relaxing, and the cats are adorable. There isn’t much to the game, but I believe that’s the whole point (and not a con in my opinion). The gameplay is very straightforward and nice to focus on when you need a momentary distraction. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a simple, but enjoyable game.

The art is astounding, the gameplay subpar

The gameplay is not challenging. It requires a lot of mindless clicking, no ability to strategize in upgrades since the thinking is done for you with “recommended” upgrades. The assets of the game are top tier and drip with charm and appeal, but it is difficult to appreciate them with limited zoom capability. I was entertained for about an hour, but that’s when the constant “watch ad” prompts got to me. The rewards for watching the ads increase with each prompt, but after an hour it just wasn’t worth it to keep playing. Fewer prompts or a shorter ad length would help me stay immersed in the game. This game has potential, but the developers should work on making the gameplay itself a little more challenging and enticing. Take a page from Merge Dragons’ success and rely less on ads and more on in-game purchases. Trust your gaming concept a little more and lean in on dressing and customizing the cats. Anyway, I’m uninstalling but i will keep an eye out for a more engaging version of Cats&Soup because your artists and animators understood the assignment when it comes to the assets of this game.
