Description of PSC Pocket Checklists

Lloyd’s Register is a global professional services organisation specialising in engineering and technology solutions for the maritime industry and broader ocean economy. We are the world’s first marine classification society, created more than 260 years ago to improve the safety of ships operating in more than 70 countries. Our Port State Control app exists to make life easier for ship owners and crew, helping to ensure that each inspection goes smoothly, and that all your requirements and obligations are met every time. Together with the UK P&I Club, we have compiled this checklist following analysis of deficiencies found by port state control (PSC) officers on ships classed by Lloyd’s Register.

  • Really improved !

This has brought six separate apps together into one much slicker and easier to use Interface. Particularly like how you can take photos and save them with your checklist plus export to PDF function.
  • PSC checklists

The app is well presented and comprehensive for onboard inspection. Seems to be issue of sending by email as colleges not receiving. Also when trying to generate report via Print and send via email works well if no or one picture attached, but more than one the print report does not generate the report. Is there a limit as to number of pictures can be added to each question or report? If these small issues could be fixed it’s a good app.
