About ThreeDee PRO We want you to be perfectly satisfied with the way our Dolby Atmos productions sound, specifically on Apple Music. That means, we want you to be able to check your content, give feedback, offer suggestions, ask for revisions, and to give approval prior to release. For ordinary Stereo productions, this process would be easy. You'd receive a customary Stereo file (from WAV to MP3) that you could easily check out on your playback system of choice – from a professional studio environment to simple headphones. For Dolby Atmos mixes, this is not possible yet. Spatial content on Apple Music is encoded as a specific file format that cannot be played on average consumer systems. This requires dedicated software and hardware, powering an array of speakers or a set of special headphones. Most listeners of Apple Music use headphones. The platform enables 3D headphone playback through their own proprietary binauralizer software. This limitation makes it very inconvenient for artists to check the sound of their tracks in Dolby Atmos prior to release – something musicians and producers have to know, to make sure their productions sound the way they want to. Our ThreeDee PRO app is the solution to this problem. It plays back your Dolby Atmos material exactly as it will sound when released as spatial content on Apple Music. All you need is your mobile Apple device and a set of headphones that is compatible with Apple's "spatial" settings. If a Stereo mix or a binaural render is available, you can switch between the different formats in the app's player and compare them directly. Using ThreeDee PRO is very simple. Once the production you booked with ThreeDee Music is ready to be shared for your feedback, you will get access to the material via a personal download code provided to you. After downloading the playlist, you just have to hit "play" and you will be able to switch between 3D and Stereo in realtime. Finally, after auditioning you can delete your material again with a simple swipe. Important: The app requires a mobile device and headphones that support Spatial Audio in Apple Music.
