Great game, low energy limits play time
Hello
I really enjoy this game and it is a great time passer! However, I am only able to play for about 15 mins at a time because it doesn’t take long to use up the energy. Even if I paid £5 for gems, I would only get another 15 mins out of it so the amount it costs doesn’t balance well at all for the time I would get to play so I just wouldn’t do it. Sadly looks as though I’ll find another app with the same mechanics as I always skip through the story so I can get to the levels hence making the game short.
As well as that, I have accumulated so many coins but have no clue what to spend them on. I can’t find anything that accepts coins in the app so if that could be clarified that would be great.

Why did you change it?
Enjoyed the game before the update that added energy. It was nice to know I wasn’t going to be stopped from playing the game, unlike most other games that use an energy system. Just seems like you’re trying to encourage players to spend money to play longer - just another greedy money grab.HappyLittleSoul

There is a reason for it and I can guarantee you it's not about greed or money grabbing :) I also understand your frustration as not every update can please everyone. What saddens me the most is that your experience went from "enjoying the game" to not so enjoying it at all, or worse... I love this game and have sunk loads of time into it- everything is very polished, the gameplay is fun but not repetitive and the story is well written and engaging. The newest update has some good quality of life stuff (i.e. earning coins from levels and the same with stars) but the new energy system is something I’m not a fan of. It limits how much I can play and the amount that you can buy in the store is pretty minimal- I’d love for this feature to be reworked (maybe make it so story levels need energy but the photo ones don’t?) or completely removed back to how it was.
Don’t get me wrong, I love this game and will definitely continue to play often, but the limits imposed by the new system will sadly lower the amount considerably.Show lessWashedRapier

I just love this game even though I’m absolutely terrible at it (I hate numbers). I find it super addicting maybe because I also find it challenging. And I love mysteries. For me that’s the perfect combination. I love CRIMO almost as much…I just find it a bit harder. I have had 2 occasions to contact the game creators and they have responded with 2 hours! Unheard of customer service. Get this game. You won’t regret it. It’s such a blast!Show lessBDSFG

This game is literally so good, it’s so underrated. The art and the storyline is so fun, please update! I could literally play for hours! The characters are so well though out! Please keep updating this gameeeee!!

Long wait between games
I love the game. But when I finished the first investigation, it took weeks to get enough points to start a new investigation. I’m still not sure how to earn enough points to continue. I ended up sitting out the game while I got a point each day. I almost deleted the whole game!KoalaCaye

Greetings KoalaCaye, Thank you for your review. We understand that the game might not have the most obvious user experience. Good news: why we are working on a major update (ETA: a few weeks) that will - hopefully - fix your issue. Meanwhile, here are the different ways to earn stars and unlock new episodes: - "Pull" a photo at the shooting range with tokens earned from completed episodes or with the daily rewarded ad (everyday you can watch an ad to get a shot) - Play all 10 levels of your unlocked photos - If you have enough coins, you can directly purchase photos. I found the game entertaining until later in the first investigation when Ted and Pepero appear as witnesses. Ted is a poor, stereotyping interpretation of Caribbean (specifically Jamaican) people and their language. His use of patois is terrible, he frequently says “mha-aan” (mon), and the game implies he smokes marijuana to “keep him irie.” I found his character offensive and not entertaining at all. I couldn’t get past the dialogue and deleted the game.Show lessBobbyBih

Hello BobbyBih,Thanks for sharing your opinion. We understand that the first episode of the game won't please everybody. Usually with stories and especially characters, it's either love it or hate it. That's why we have built a "skip" button that can be used until reaching the next episode. And another episode means a new set of characters... to love or hate all over again :)Disappointing
You only get to play a couple puzzles and then you’re accosted with the poorly written story that’s supposed to tie this all together. And you only get to do THAT a few times before you’re out of energy and have to wait to play again. Uggh.Vectoreleven
Few ads, but they’re sexual
The ads are all sexual. Ads in question display lewd fox girls with seductive catchphrases. It’s disgusting and I shouldn’t have to fork up 8 dollars just so this isn’t popping up while kids under 8 are playing the game

Such an amazing game and a great time passer! Each level is individually challenging and keeps your brain going, also being incredibly addictive! My only question is, when will the next chapter be out? I can’t get to play morebeth_gibbo

However, this production takes time as we are a tiny team. Plus, we also have other aspects of the game to improve. Truth be told, we are working on a necessary major update which is not episode-related. Until then, we won't be able to give you an estimated date for the next episode (but we can already tell you that we are talking about months, not weeks unfortunately).
