I came across this app today; I was hesitant to purchase it based on the reviews, but after a couple of hours, I can’t say enough about how great it is. This is the customization for the HomeKit app I’ve been searching for. It appears there are a few problems, but it looks as though the developer is quickly fixing them.
This is a great app. I have been able to make a unique HomeKit display by importing my own images. I would have given the app 5 stars but there seems to be a problem with passcode pop-up. When I press my security bottom the passcode pop-up is displayed in the middle of the screen, right where my cameras are. No matter what I have tried, I can’t not get the pop-up to display in front of the camera images. Is it possible to have the passcode pop-up display in front of the cameras?

Thank you for your rating! We are already working on that issue and it will be fixed in the next update. ;) The app and idea have a lot of potential. I have issue with adding temp accessories the it does not allow. I have aqara 3 in one temperature accessory.

we will take a look at it and fix it with one of the next releases, if the device can not be imported.Gave the app a shot (it definitely has potential), but once I got the lights in the rooms with their custom widgets, the app would crash each time a tried to toggle the lights on. Seems like they have some work to do, I’m going to try and get a refund.

My Review:
This App/Progran combination is not for everyone. It's for, what I would refer to as, Power Users. Meaning, users with technical and/or design software experience - and users with a willingness to invest the time to create an interface that fits their specific use-needs and allows for (possible) improvement over the Home App.
Basically - If you're confused about the difference between the VIZ App & the VIZ Program...and which needs to be loaded on what device...you're probably not in the category of 'Power User' that I referred to above.
If you are a 'Power User', you will likely be impressed with the capability of this App/Program combination. While not 'perfect', VIZ-Designer allow for a LOT of customization for creating a Dashboard that can be tailored to work within your specific use case.

Hello @lenuevahistoria,so far we did not receive any feedback from our users, that the app nor the software does not work. Have you maybe tried to download the app on your Mac? The app is only designed to run on mobile devices (iPhones, iPads, iPods). However when using a Mac with a M1 Chip unfortunately the app store also allows you to download the VIZ Designer App. We hope that this already solves your issue. If not please give us more details about your problem. You can also always get in touch with our support team at any time.I downloaded the app and was able to register it with no problems. Evidentally that problem has been fixed. I followed the instructions, and downloaded the software for my MacBook Air M1. It runs great there. I started up the software on my Mac, and it asked me to log into the account I created from my iPhone. That worked fine. It then suggested I watch a YouTube tutorial, which was a great idea.
So far everything is working fine. The only problem is that the software license was displayed in German, even though I chose English in the language dropdown. That seems like an easy fix. Hopefully they will take care of it soon. Likewise, the message about accepting cookies on their website has buttons that are labelled in German only, even though some of the explanation is in English.
Watching the demo on Shane Whatley's YouTube channel was eye-opening. I tried to leave HomeKit and go to Home Assistant because HomeKit was so inflexible as to how the screens were displayed. It turns out that Home Assistant is crazy complicated to get set up, with various packages from differen vendors, and more than one way to do things to the point where it was confusing. With Viz Designer, I'll be able to have HomeKit layouts that make more sense. I thus will stay with HomeKit. Thanks Shane Whatley for demoing this solution!

Thank you for your Feedback! We already translated the cookies and they are now available in english also. We are working now on the translation for the software license and will change that also asap. :) Website will not let you activate. Gives 404 error when trying to activate. Do not buy!
