Bestever Video Creator App User Reviews

Top reviews

Broken, devoid of content, and probably illegal

This app feels like something made in a week by a college student for a project, not an actual professional app. The content that’s advertised basically doesn’t exist. Behind the apps shiny (basic) exterior, there is no functionality. There are less than 100 reviews, and I think most of them were put there by the devs themselves. It’s astounding that they decided to launch this app the state that it is in. There is so much missing (see below), and what they do have is broken.

MISSING FEATURES:
- A rating system for products (no stars or numbers)
- A way to filter reviews based on positive/negative/time
- A way for you, the customer, to leave non-video reviews (imagine if Amazon forced you to write a review and not just enter a number)
- Product information. I’m pretty sure this one is illegal. If I go to buy a carton of milk on this app, there is no nutritional info listed. Every other website would have this information, and irl stores are required to. Pretty scummy, as it reads the app trying to trick the user into buying bad products.
- Search functionality. The search is broken, and not actually implemented, taking up to a minute to finish only to give nothing, searching key words like “chocolate” or “vegan” returns nothing despite reviews with those titles existing. It’s either broken, or not implemented at all.
- Product received for free indicator. This is another that I’m pretty sure is illegal. All other sites I’ve used online, when someone reviews something, they have to mark whether a product was received for free. Usually this is implemented as text that appears over the video (does not exist), or the reviewer explicitly states it (they will use words like “receive” but never explicitly state it). Pretty scummy since then you don’t know if the reviewer is being honest.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE??? There is no customer service button on this app. Enjoy being scammed and then not having an avenue to return the product or get your money back (many products are sold by Bestever themselves making this extra scummy).
- A way to request your data. This, I know for sure, is required by law. There is no way for you, at least as a guest user (which they still collect data on) to request a copy of your customer data. I would say email support, see previous bullet point.

Pretty cool actually

A pretty cool app, it looks like all the reviews are from real people, some are even critical of the products. Feels like I can trust this over all the paid ads on other platforms. Actually bought one of the products

Tiktok but just Ads

It is pretty much tiktok but instead of natural videos it looks more like paid ads. I don’t understand the point of it when you could just use tiktok.
