  • The Best choice for creating Art

Version 3 styles are still sub-par compared to what they were back in January, so I am knocking off a star for that. However, compared to all the other ai art-generators out there—both online and apps—that I have tried (with the notable exception of the expensive one that I refuse to try for that reason), Dream is by far the best in terms of certain output. Dream makes the best abstract art, and the best art objects. It understands 3D texture and sculptural art objects very well. It doesn’t add superfluous flourishes (like a certain free online ai generator) to make what it thinks is “art”. It doesn’t add Kandinsky-esque arcs to make what it thinks is “abstract art.” It doesn’t add unnecessary drips and splotches and generates furniture store art when you really wanted a Rothko. Dream understands artists’ individual styles quite well, especially 20th century modern art, that other generators struggle with. It also understands famous people—living and dead—and will generate them, unlike that other ai generator that blocks you if you dare try to get your art in Andy Warhol’s style or if you are so brazen as to dare generate a picture of Abraham Lincoln. Dream is cool with it. Plus, this is an app for Mac OS. And it works great. And they have brought back the formerly garbled V1 and V2 styles to be much better than they were a year ago. I just wish they’d fix the craggy features in V3 styles.

  • I’m proud, Wombo Studios, Inc.

Other AI generators are scams, because they say that you can generate anything in this platform, but when you haven’t done anything, and you try to generate a video for the first time ever, it says you need the pro version, like, what? That’s so stupid, can you at least give us a chance, and I did get the chance to generate a video, the quality actually looked like it was underwater, it looked so bad, and the fact that you need pro to do anything is absurd, all the good things they say about this app requires pro, like, literally, and the quality shown in the ads are 1,000,000,000x better than in the actual app, They should be more like dream! they put thought into their consumers, they actually let us generate images, and the quality is amazing, like, look at this *CRYSTAL CLEAR* that is high quality if I’ve ever seen it, I mean, Dream AI does have a pro version, but it’s 1,000,000x less constricting than others, And it’s the only AI platform that hasn’t let me down, so far

  • Broken App

For three years, this app worked fine. Recent updates have destroyed its functionality. Since last week, virtually all prompts trigger the NSFW filter. Normal words such as “kiss,” “wreck” and even “horror,” cause the filter to prohibit art generation. The funny part is that Dream has a filter called “Horror,” yet if your prompt contains the word “horror,” then the app won’t generate the art. This app is utterly broken, as it currently stands. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend it to any user, even for free. Also, each update offers the same vague details, stating “we’ve squashed some bugs” which is also funny, because I am sure that phrase alone would fall prey to the app’s psychotic censorship proclivities. Lastly, the 4.8 review in the app store is misleading. Those high reviews date back to when the app was still functional. The reviews since the current update all over around 1 star. That is the true assessment of Dream by Wombo. This review page should be updated to reflect that. ALL positive reviews are really for a different product, that no longer exists.

  • Why so geared toward the garish?

I am very disappointed in how the V3 styles have changed recently. In my previous review, I noted how they were too soft. Then a fix was implemented and for a while, they were BEAUTIFUL! I was able to create so many gorgeous portraits. However, it seems like they kept getting tweaked and now they are unusable. Instead of making almost photorealistic portraits, they make garish cartoony vector comic book-style art. Textures look plastic. It all looks cheap now. I was so happy when it looked like the V3 styles were actually attempting to create beautiful art and some photorealism, generating adults with normal features instead of the Dreamland V2 styles that produced cutesy little girlie anime style people. But that’s not true anymore, with the V3 styles producing stark saturated overly contrasted garish lighting effects, creepy monsters with wrinkles and hollow cheeks, and bones so sharp they could cut with a knife. It looks like you really are trying to appeal to the comic book monster dark fantasy crowd. I guess you’ve found your demographic, and I’m not one of them, nor welcome. Don’t get me wrong, you should have a style for that. A style. Not all the V3 styles. I cannot in good conscience give 5 stars anymore. Yes, it is still a useful app, but all the recent styles are pretty much unusable. 4 stars.

  • The best

This is the best I love it it is easy to use. It’s easy to change. If you don’t like what you did you just put it in a few extra words and it just rearranges it just like that and you can make anything you want just by putting some words down, and you can create.. you can create anything your man can imagine and it is so easy to do if I can do it anybody can do it. I love it. This sounds crazy, but I am elderly person I have also become disabled to the point that I cannot leave the house or get around anywhere I cannot walk. I cannot do anything so to find something like this to be able to accomplish. Something is fantastic.. I can no longer use my body to do things cause it does not work, but what it lets my mind do it amazing it takes me feeling not being useful anymore to making me feel like I can make things and send them to people and I can serve a purpose and I still here for some reason. to create beautiful beautiful pictures and I love it it’s a lot difference in a lot of other people use it for me. It is everything.

  • Why so geared toward the childish?

Everything seems so smooth lately, and that is not good. Not enough texture, even when I prompt for rough texture (fortunately the old styles still do good texture, but they have their drawbacks like the way they distort bodies and such). HDR V3 can do some incredible things, but I’m getting awfully tired of all the smoothed out graphic styles. Watercolor v3 is not a fine art style, it’s an illustration style. There’s already an Illustration, and a Comic, and a Cartoonist, and a Whimsical, and an Anime, and a Festive, and they all seem so similar. And now this Sticker stuff. I feel like I’m back in grade school. Please give us serious styles.

How about a pure style without any additives for those of us who are more into prompting our own styles and creating serious images instead of kid stuff? You already have a second tab for the avatar function, why not add this as a third?

I’m giving 5 stars because I do find value in the app, but I also feel like you are trying to discourage serious synthographers from using your product, rather than trying to win them over from your competitors.

  • Beautiful execution, but..

First off, I just want to make this clear; this particular AI is very talented, by all means. The pictures are very fitting to the description and produce beautiful images. There are various different styles to choose from, and it is fairly easy to use. With it being so easy to use, I have found problems with what some users create with the AI to put on their feed. I know that pornography and other types of inappropriate content are expected on nearly any social media type platform, but I have found myself reporting sexual content many more times than I expected myself to do when I chose to download this app. By “sexual content”, I mean women wearing extremely revealing lingerie in poses to with their legs open, and some are even naked. I don’t know how comfortable parents would be with other their 12 year olds seeing those kinds of things 😅. Of course, there is no known full-proof way to prevent this type of material, but it has gotten very out of hand. With AI, it can be very unpredictable, along with its users. Thank you for reading, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could take my review into consideration to help improve the content.

Edit: THE APP IS SO GLITCHY!! Please fix the bugs and glitching!!

  • Horrible

This app is complete garbage, no humanity whatsoever, a lifeless soulless monstrosity, drawing on a piece of card board with a stubby crayon is better than this, and yet this, this trash, will be our future, I downloaded this app to see what actual artists are up against this is nothing compared to what years of practice love and care can create, human art not AI. To even suggest that artificial intelligence can create art is so incredibly offensive to the real human artists who, in the all too near future are going to become irrelevant because of this soulless machine. Almost once every single day I go to look something up most of the results that are images dead mangled fingers woven together into something these people insist upon calling art people are using AI to write their books storyboard their shows anything that was the job of artist is soon to be taken by what we call intelligence all that is left safe are sculptors. If your an artist and are reading this for some odd reason the moral is don’t post your art online copycats will just train ai to copy your art style so they can have for themselves unfortunately I doubt the government will do anything to stop people who generate images using AI from purposely copy people’s art styles and sell AI images at the prices an artist would sell real art at stay safe and remember AI is always learning .

  • Life Changing!

I have never in my life been so affected by an App until I came across this one. It’s literally mind blowing what you can create with joining words together. It opens up a whole new dimension in your brain. Every image you create is like “WOW”! If I could give it 10 stars I would. The only tiny complaint I have is when you’re viewing other peoples profile and you want to give them a like, the little heart shaped icon is so incredibly tiny, it doesn’t always activate when you click it so there image opens in a separate window and you have to wait until their image opens up to like it. It’s quite time-consuming and I get frustrated and I feel like I’m not giving the likes to those who deserve it. Please make the heart shaped like button bigger so we can activate it quicker. Because of the large number of images people create and because it’s so addicting and amazing, there’s a lot of likes to give!!! I’ve had to bail on so many peoples profiles just because of this. I’ve even taken the liberty of having a special notebook and writing down a variety of words during the day to create a scene/image when I come home from work. Its literally all I think about now! It truly makes you appreciate your surroundings, and the detailed elements of nature, materials, textiles, combining woodland creatures and animals, feelings and emotions and so on. The possibilities are infinite!

  • App made me “almost” rich

Ok I highly recommend this app because it has completely changed my life. Ok so all you have to do is choose the style and tell the AI generator what type of picture to make in the pictures it makes are unbelievably good so good in the fact that I decide to start printing them on big canvases and then I hung them up everywhere in my house. I love this app, not to mention that premium which gives you access to a lot of more things and more special abilities in the app. It’s only $10 how affordable is that? And then what really changed my life is that I started selling these and only by selling about a few hundred I had already made $25,000 and since it cost money to put them on the canvases. It cost $20 for me to out um on it. If you take how much I put and then the $20 I spent on the canvases. I made 24,287 thousand bucks. And yes this to take a little while took around five months for me. I sold each one to 50 to 200$ in at the end I made a lot of money. I was even able to buy a house and have a lot of fun money for myself. And the reason that the house I bought was so cheap. It’s only like a five room today but that’s all I need. So this app highly recommend it and you could use it for fun to create artwork or to sell the artwork and make a lot of money. If you made it here thx for reading .

    Sincerely
