Be informed - exchange ideas - organize care well - distribute the tasks
Caregiving relatives are everyday heroes! The app (currently in the field test phase!) Ease supports the team of caring relatives, neighbors, friends, volunteers and professional caregivers in their daily challenges. It relieves informal caregivers through fast networking and digital distribution of tasks in the team and offers the opportunity to strengthen each other in the complex situation of caring for relatives. The aim is to facilitate and stabilize the home care situation in this way. This enables people in need of care to live in their familiar surroundings for as long as possible.
The app is easy to use. It offers team members various tools for coordination, communication and mutual information. You can exchange ideas in the chat and use the calendar function to coordinate appointments and tasks, e.g. B. who accompanies the person in need of care when they visit the doctor. The app reminds you of the appointments and your tasks such as the next dose of medication. In the profile you can also store personal and biographical data as well as habits in the daily routine. In the emergency passport area, you will also find all the important personal information, e.g. B. Medicines, allergies, family doctor. So everyone is always informed and can respond to the current situation.
The protection of personal data plays an important role in this. The data will only be made available to those persons to whom the persons in need of care or their relatives grant access. ease takes into account all requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The ease app is being developed as part of the “HERO” research project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
