great app

Very useful breathing technique

Oxygen advantage

The content in the app is really good but after a day of owning the app the app crashed and won’t load anything I’ve deleted the app and tried logging in again and it just freezes on you

Times sometime don’t work

Hi guys, loving using the app with the daily breathing tasks. But the app doesn’t open up - When I try open it around 10am-1pm Australian eastern standards times. About 1am-3am Ireland times.

I have to wait till after 1pm to use the app again.

Great app Thank you Patrick .This app improves my quality of life immensely daily and continues to improve in time. I am an asthma patient who could not walk for more than 3 minutes without stopping for a breath . My pulmonary doctor recommended an inhaler, but I thought to research options before becoming drug dependent. yesterday I in walked 2 hours stopping only to take photos and enjoy my natural surroundings. If you have a breathing disorder, or not but are a mouth breather who will probably develop a disorder, I am convinced nose breathing is essential for good health. The science is solid. I spent many many hours understanding the process. Check it out yourself . Needless to say, I won’t be needing an inhaler. And this is truly a Free App!

Counselor referred me to this app

I suffer from anxiety and depression. After a traumatic event in my life, I went back to counseling and my counselor showed me this app. I’m so thankful to her and OA. This gives me more control over feelings that can quickly feel out of control. I’ve passed this on to everyone, I know, including my little nieces and nephews this should be taught in schools, considering today’s world.

Excellent Resource w/ Some Issues

The content and customized plans are great.
Patrick’s guidance is thorough and informative.
It’s a gift to anyone who downloads it that all this info is available for free.

It does have a consistent problem of having a dark screen late in the day, so that it can’t be used.
I would also like if the vibration setting for the inhales and exhales was stronger or if there was a tone that signified whether to inhale or exhale. That way you wouldn’t have to look at the screen to know when to breathe at the pace of the exercise.
I’ve also noticed that the “Patrick Guidance” feature sometimes cuts off, occasionally.

I use this everyday. Thank you, Patrick and OA team for the work that you do and for this app.
You folks are doing good work.

Simply Fantastic

The OA app is absolutely superb and a gift to us all. Highly recommended

Concept great, app glitchy

I have been using the app consistently for almost 3 weeks now. Love the exercises and hoping it helps me deal with altitude better. But as time goes on the app seems to be getting glitchier. Often when I finish an exercise it gives me an error message so the exercise isn’t logged. I currently have a black screen that doesn’t allow me to get to anything at all. Hope these are fixed. Otherwise I like the concept behind it and the gradual step up in progression.

DIY

This is a surprisingly comprehensive guide to systematically improve breathing. I read The Breathing Cure and wanted a way to implement the information in that book. So far I’ve found it in this app. After 2 months my breath hold time has increased and my sleep is starting to improve. This app is packed with exercises to follow for the motivated learner. Thank you Mr. McKeown!
