Writing and reading in the fastlane
Writing for Memod has been an exciting and fruitful experiment. I understand ideas and questions so much better once I express them in a Memo. The word limit forces you to stay conscious of the fact that you’re writing on the internet, and the internet rewards brevity. With effort and focus, it’s possible to create a beautiful writing portfolio on Memod in a short span of time. The uniformity of each Memo, the rough similarity in length and formatting, also keeps the readers interested in consuming more content. Tweets get lost and articles are too inaccessible - the only writing that will continue to resonate in a few years will be bite-sized, value-driven, and respectful of the readers’ time

Finally, I can sort and save a library of notes
I love the idea of an app that is laser-focused on learning and a community of people there specifically to grow and learnBut the main thing for me is a place to take notes on my reading, then organize and share them.Traditionally the #1 thing for me is the search and sort function, that's what I've been looking for, so that I can get to the notes I've saved for my own use as quickly as possible. Memod makes that much easier - and looks good at the same time.

A cut above
I'm surprised this thing isn't better known. I feel like this thing was invented for someone like me. I starts non-fiction books but never finish them. I dream of a career change but often feel uninspired. I browse courses but don’t know where to start. I *constantly* feel like I'm playing catch-up. Memo'd makes me feel like I'm back in control - maybe because the memos have a way of making everything easy to understand, LOL. But if you want to learn about philosopgy or finance without getting a headache, or you just want to share your own life lessons for others to appreciate, you can't go wrong here.

The right home for my content
As someone who regularly posts career tips on LinkedIn and Twitter... only to find them swept down the timeline, this app makes a ton of sense for me as a creator. 1) It gets put in front of people who want to spend their time wisely/productively. There's no algorithm to battle with. 2) It's taken for granted that we all have knowledge worth sharing. 3) My content gets its own SEO-friendly URL plus an image, headline, topic categorization to make it easier to find. That gives it a fighting chance - a life that stretches beyond the normal life cycle of social media posts. And even though the audience seems much smaller at this point, I feel connected with like-minded people.

A lot to like
I think Memo'd could get better, but for what it is - it's super solid and a nice change from the toxic noise of Twitter, etc. Sometimes people just wanna go where they can learn without any distractions. Giving it a good rating because it's free. Intetested to see how it develops ;)
Wish I had this app earlier in life!
I'm new to the whole microlearning trend but this app has been a fanrastic introduction to the concept. Of course learning about something complex is easier when it's simplified. Duh! I wish I could have learned about the world in bite-sized pieces when I was younger. But if this Is he way of the future, I'm all on board.

A simple pick-me-up
I needed a way to learn and retain useful information quickly, when it’s convenient for me because whenever I put down my phone, I feel like I’ve wasted time and have nothing to show for it. Memo'd gives me maximum ROI on my time. Granted, I only use when I can squeeze in minutes here and there. But it adds up. Looking forward to getting more out of this...

I feel smarter already
Only been using this a few days but the way it makes complex ideas easy to understand is a game-changer. Hope the quality can be sustained
Like Deepstash, but more substance
I missed my bus stop the first time I used this lol. I've tried a few brain training and summary apps. They all have their pros and cons. This one can feel a little quiet at timea - def wouldn't check more than once a day - but I don't feel overwhelmed. Design is sleek but simple
I rediscovered this gem
First tried Memo'd not long after its launch. forgot about it after a few goes but I recently updated it and gave another try. Boy, has it come along. This has become my go-to app for compiling notes and quotes/pieces of inspiration. If I had any request, it would be to make highlights more intuitive. On the whole, a very attractive app - and for free, it's a must have.
