Does not work, at all
Plugged in to the USB’s port, and the app does not see it at all. USB dongle is way too short so you cannot use it with any case, or need some adapter or extender. Currently this purchase has been a complete waste of money as it does not work at all.BobOki

Needs improvement
Seems to do what is advertised. Would be nice with no water mark.
Phone overheats and dims the screen while using this app.
App tends to freeze for a few second every 30 seconds or so.
Would be a good improvement if I could generate a report from the app.

Forced watermarks should be removed
It’s ridiculous that this app requires you to accept a huge Klein Tools watermark on every photo you take. It’s the top complaint about competing products in reviews - Klein should learn from that mistake and offer an option to disable the watermark so you can see the full field of view of your images.Show lessBorpsaws
Functional but needs works
The hardware works great and feels very well constructed, though the lightning connector is minimally short, so it essentially can’t be used with a phone case without a cheesy import adaptor or extension cable. Seems like a major oversight for a device from a company that caters to trades people.
The software functions. As other reviewers have noted, it needs serious refinement.
1) camera rotation. Since the hardware plugs into the bottom of a phone, you essentially block it with you hand while holding it, so you have to rotate physically to landscape, but the app doesn’t.
2) remove the Klein logo/watermark. Totally unprofessional to have that in images that might be used in reports; and I’ve already purchased a Klein device in bright orange that is hanging off my phone. Branding on the images and videos is insulting.

Decent but needs improvement
Overall the app does what it should with the imager. However it could be improved. Here’s a rundown of what needs to be included in a future update:
1. App/Imager details needs to rotate with screen orientation.
2. Ability to remove the Klein logo and/or add our own. This point seems a little unprofessional on the part of Klein given the cost of the imager.
3. Ability to adjust/tweak the focus (if this is even possible).
4. Ability to mute microphone/audio on videos when recording.
