This is a repost after it was deleted, have no idea why … hope it sticks this time. 🤞

MergeX just feels all around different. It is interested in integration. Rather than being obsessively focused on just lists and tasks it combines a beautiful Infinite notebooks with calendar as well as task lists and checklists, photo and drawing capabilities and much more.

MergeX smartly allows you to link information together, to a level few apps offer.
Notes, tasks and events can link to any note in the database and can even create their own sub-notes, that allow you to neatly nest related information.

When you first open the app you will notice how pleasing the UI is on the eye. This is further compounded by the multiple colorful themes it offers for both night and day.
I also love the many subtle touches that the developer adorned the app with. For example, the checkboxes have soft rounded edges, rather than the angular boxes in many todo list apps. That itself aids to the overall aestics when creating tasks and checklists.
Any note, event or task can potentially have any number of embedded content. You can attach website URLs as well. And it has a great markdown note editor with lists, numbered lists and checklists as well support for indent.

It has a beautifully mult-colored highlighter for text, all the basic headings and formatting options and even support for quotes, lines and code. All of these options are available in a simple, clever and readily available toolbar that sits cleanly above the keyboard. And when you select any text it offers additional options, including bold, italics, highlighting and linking. It can also attach files in addition to photos.

I must also mention the wonderful photo layout options you have available within any note, task or event and the ability to group related content.

An another big surprise is being able to have a built-in versioning back up systems for your notes. Even most of the top dog markdown editors haven't figured out how to do this yet on iOS.

I have just barely scratched the surface of what this highly versatile and powerful, little known app offers. There is so much to explore. And most of all, it is extremely fun to use.

Last but not least, the app is actively developed and supported by a friendly and responsive developer.

I am excited to have found this true gem of an app. In a sea of productivity apps, MergeX sparkles and shines high above the horizon. Rather than feeling stuck in the limited, left-brain list mentality you find in most apps, MergeX gives you a feeling of freedom, flexibility and unlimited potential and a place to access and explore your own creativity.
I highly recommend you give this exceptional app a try. I imagine it is only a matter of time before more and more discover it and the delight of what MergeX offers.
  • Truly Unique and Well Designed

This is the best notes/taskmanager/Calendar I've found on the app store.

I'm shocked they don't have more reviews.

  • Very cool

Nice app great functionalities, a beautiful design overall. I love that the developer has a personal story about why he made it and how so you can really connect with the product.
