Lovely little device with lots to be desired.
1. One desired feature is the ability to duplicate a scene. This would eliminate the need to recreate each scene and match it to another one when all we need to do is change the camera sources.
2. There's no built-in Lower Thirds feature—title, name, subtitle, logo—which I find disappointing. I wish there were Chroma Key for Camera inputs, allowing us to create transparent lower thirds through another computer and OBS. Currently, we can only create non-transparent lower thirds with OBS because the input source doesn't support transparency. If only we could add multiple text and image layers in one scene, unless I've missed something.
3. Additionally, the consistency of the app and the controller device needs improvement. When controlling the scenes on the device, it always projects it to Program view. I wish it didn't do that, especially when "To PGM directly" is toggled off. That way, we could still preview it before sending things live. Furthermore, it'd be great if ALL scenes were toggle-based—being able to click on a SCENE again to return to the original view without the PIP. Currently, we click on a PIP scene, and to remove it, we need to find the camera angle and click on that to exit the PIP. I wish there were Scene-based switching so that we could create just one PIP scene and still be able to switch camera angles.
4. There's a need for more preset SCENE compositions. I wish there were a SPLIT SCREEN composition that doesn't crop the aspect ratio of the camera, and the ability to add a background image to it.
5. Additionally, I wish there were a built-in EQ, at least through the app.
6. I wish AeroCaster Live app can launch without the controller, so we can prepare things from anywhere when we didn't bring with us the controller device. Unless every update we do is stored on the device itself.
Just a note: Mic 2 doesn't seem to produce phantom power if it's not plugged into the wall. This is something to keep in mind. Initially, I thought I received a defective unit. Also, the power brick is not included in the package.
Despite these points, I love the simplicity and portability of AeroCaster. I can live with the limitations since I can still accomplish many things through another computer. I can project lyrics, slide presentations, and I can even use my mirrorless camera as an input source. 😊

iPhone camera won’t display
not working
the operation could not be completed (has the aerocaster app been added to the facebook page group setting)
been using almost a year without any changes on our church fb page.
and we dont have any group on our church fb account
please advice as we use this app mainly for our church services

such potential but so frustrating
I have spent countless hours troubleshooting product/software and countless hours writing to your product specialists Roland. countless hours frustrating production work just trying to get this product to record. This is an amazing product but you have to realize not everyone necessarily wants to live stream. I’m not sure why you’re less expensive Roland LiveCastGo hasthe ability to record but this product five times as expensive doesn’t have that capability.
I know you can set up a stream key and use the record function that way that’s not the problem. The problem is I often find the software is unable to record to my camera roll for some reason. I constantly get an error code and it says failed to load restart app. I’ve done countless hours of lost podcast footage lost hundreds of hours of content due to it not recording or the this software crashing. It’s not user error because I’ve used it with my iPad Pro I’ve used it with my iPad mini six and it’s all the same story. If this doesn’t work in a casual or professional via environment no matter how cool it is or how innovative it is by using your existing device is this really doesn’t matter because it’s completely useless. Unfortunately I’m stuck with this product now because I spent so much time messing with it that I’m already passed the return policy on Amazon so I guess I’m stuck with it. I will be waiting for Roland to actually do something with his product. UPDATE IT or fixed the software crashes. Please allow their users to actually use it to record content instead of relying on live streaming everybody is still waiting for this promised feature.
