The Amateur Edition of Complete Dynamics is a special App for those who have basic knowledge of homeopathy, but are not professional therapists.
We made the Amateur Edition because many people asked for a low budget solution for non professional use, who would otherwise not be able to afford a license. It is based on the Practitioner Edition, we just left out the things most amateurs don't really need.
Program is localized for: English, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Bulgarian, Russian, Hebrew, Hindi.
The Amateur Edition contains, in short:
* Kent's Repertory, 6th edition.
* Materia Medica:
Timothy Field Allen: Clinical hints
Willam Boericke: Pocket manual of homeopathic materia medica.
Clemens von Bönninghausen: Characteristics.

* Analysis: Improved abbreviation of long rubric labels, using maximum space available instead of abbreviating all parts the same way.
* Preferences: Added a setting to enable/disable abbreviation of long rubric names.
* Solved an issue, introduced by Apple in iPadOS 18, where menu buttons appear floating over the app text, blocking the view of what is under them.
* Minor software corrections.
I have the desktop version and have no problem with it, in fact I use it more than any other professional repertorising program.
I decided to get the amateur phone edition of of curiosity. Have struggled with it for a while on the phone (6.1” screen) I’ve given up. Unusable as far as I’m concerned. This scaled down version of the laptop/ desktop version just doesn’t translate to a tiny screen.
If you’re a programmer or windows whizz it might be something you can get useful tasks done with but for someone like me, coming from a Mac (since 1993) and who has almost no programming experience but does have over ten years using it ( CD) on a desktop and with 30 years of repertorising experience, my verdict is that it is frustratingly impossible to use it effectively on an iPhone.
