Terrible design
Haven’t attended the event yet – just preparing my schedule and the design is horrific. You need to look in two different sections to see all the sessions. There is no visual of your full schedule and the sessions you’ve added to it. You can’t filter by industry or topic, only the room the session is located in which is totally irrelevant, so you need to scroll through every session to pick potentially relevant ones. Opening the description for any event is slow and some of them still don’t even have names a week before the conference. Utter shambles.
Edit: Downgrading my review from 2 stars after attending the event because the app is even worse once you actually need it. For a two day conference, it still starts your schedule at the top of the first day on the second day; I had to un-bookmark all my first day sessions to avoid scrolling all the time, and did get really confused about what was up next. Floorpan takes forever to load. Constantly being told I have no internet connection even though everything else on my phone is working fine. Notifications are a mess, the timing is all bunched up, messages are repeated, and alerts of sessions starting are too early (there are usually 10 minutes between sessions but the notification comes 15 minutes before when you’re still in the previous session…) I’m being prompted to rate sessions I didn’t even check in for. Will stick with the paper map and schedule next time!
