  • Bravissimo 👏🏼

I plan meals on a yacht and have used Paprika 3 for a few years (which is also a great app), but this app allows me to import from social media so much easier - it can get the ingredients from a video for you pretty accurately even if the recipe isn’t typed out in the caption. Some videos don’t work, but more work than not. Putting ingredients to your shopping list from recipes is very useful and I like how the home page shows all of your cookbooks at a glance. It’s aesthetically pleasing as well.

Initially I was just going to try it out and not pay since paprika does a fine job, but the social media recipes sold me since I have so many recipes saved there. Even if it doesn’t bring over The full recipe for you it still links it back to the post so you can get right back to it easily. Overall a great app that is worth using.

  • This app actually works!!

This is the first app I have actually used that does what it is supposed to. This has made my life so much easier! Even down to providing the grocery list. This is a must have and worth every penny. I don’t even buy any apps, but I tried the trial and I will never go without this app again. It is so easy to use and extremely helpful. I had so many recipes saved everywhere and it just easily downloads them all into cookbooks for you. You can categorize the different types of recipes and I feel this will really help with my dieting as well. When I pick out what recipes I want for the week I put it in the weekly planner and it easily puts all of the items I need from the grocery store in a list! It saves me so much time. Finally an app that really does help me!! They’ve thought of everything and the Facebook group they have really helps. I love that they also take the time to ask you what you’d like to see in the app and they are constantly upgrading it to what we all need from the app. Please give it a try you won’t be sorry!

  • Lots of great features

I love this app, I ended up paying for the subscription by accident but the importing features are really nice so I’m still glad I have it. The free features should at least include the importing from paste I think. My only issue is that the app is still a little glitchy: sometimes you can tag a recipe with the cuisine type and then the tag won’t save; sometimes while editing a recipe I am locked out of editing text no matter where I tap so I have to close the recipe and open it again; sometimes the URL detection pops up and the orange button to paste is missing so I have to dismiss the window and try again- my workaround is to go through the “browse” option because the URL detection never fails there; it took multiple tries to update my phone number because the change didn’t reflect until after I closed the app and reopened.

Ultimately these things don’t make it a bad experience overall, and I think they’re things that can probably be fixed in the future. I’ve been using this app to cook more lately and it’s really nice and accessible to have my phone out while I’m cooking with a succinct recipe format instead of long blogs to sift through. I also like the cookbook organization, it’s such an improvement over sorting bookmarks in a mobile browser. It also allows me to merge the blog recipes with the ones I have saved on Instagram, and I love rating the recipes so I can mark which ones I’ve made so far and keep trying the new ones.

  • Best app on my phone

I’ve been using this for the last 3 weeks or so and it’s amazing. At first I balked a bit at paying a subscription price for it instead of up front purchase, but it’s 100% worth it. Super smooth at pulling recipes from the myriad websites and saved Instagram posts I have or have to search for over and over again to recall recipes. The stay open feature is great so I don’t have to keep unlocking my phone while cooking, and once it’s saved to recime you don’t have to deal with the 10,000 pop ups or ads that cover your screen on the original websites, or search for the “jump to recipe” button. One upgrade I’d love to see (and could be a bit of an ask) is nutrition information. I currently add recipes here, then download to Cronometer, which works well, but one app to rule them all would be killer. Either way, if you cook a lot, have stuff saved all over the place, can never remember what you ordered that random spice for, or struggle to meal plan even though you have a bunch of recipes that you looked at over the past few days, this app is worth every penny.

  • Love the idea, so far so good!

Finally! I’ve been hoping something like this would come out for a while now. It’s been so helpful and efficient, from the main feature of saving the recipes to the grocery list/meal-plan additional features. They offer a one week free trial but in the end I do think the $10/mo is worth it (They also offer an annual subscription).

Although one quirk I’ve noticed so far is that sometimes it’ll take a while to “import” the recipe (I was importing from instagram) and I’ve noticed it sometimes also gets stuck in the importing/loading stage. When that happens, I tend to just cancel the importing process and redo it by trying to import again, which usually loads it up then. I hope an update fixes that as it is a little annoying, but again, that’s the only “problem” I’ve noticed so far. Overall definitely recommend, it’s a great app!

  • A “free app” that you still have to pay for some how

It’s a great app in theory I would use it a lot!! BUT the adds for it are not transparent at all, it never mentions that you have to pay extra in order to add more then a few recipes. There’s no point in making it free at that point, if you’re going to have a “free app” with a plus option, don’t make the plus option the main use of the app! If that’s gonna be the case the app might as well not be free. It’s a good app it’s formatted great and it’s easy to use, I wish you didn’t have to pay Extra in order to use with unlimited. Especially when it’s advertised as a completely free app. It’s frustrating.

We appreciate your feedback! We understand your concern and will work on making the payment options more transparent in the app. Thank you for pointing out this issue and we will do our best to improve the user experience for our valued customers like you.
  • Hi’s & Lo’s!! READ THIS TO SAVE HEADACHE & 💰

I have TONS of saved recipes. Was excited to get them all organized, and maybe actually cook something. Lol. This app promised to take my saved Instagram recipes and convert the recipes for me. It DOES not do this 75% of the time. It does not itemize the ingredients, even when the ingredients are clearly listed within the posting. It did however allow me to get organized and consolidate all these meals I’m dreaming of. I was also frustrated that it would not covert anything I found online at all, it wouldn’t even find it when saved in my phone. But the good thing is as mentioned I have all these meals saved in one place now. And that is very helpful. This app has some work to do. I’m glad I didn’t sign up for the initial asking price. When I chose not to initially join, it then offered the yearly rate at 50% off. I think that’s reasonable for an app that clearly still has a lot of glitches to work out. Im fine with paying $34 after the 7 day trial. I hope they work out all the kinks, this could be a great must have app one day.
  • So good, I’m writing my first app review!

I have recipes saved everywhere! Pinterest, my notes app, IG, hand written, etc. Because of this, I can’t find them and they’re very disorganized.

This app solves this and I’ve added over 100 recipes in two days. I used it to make dinner and the UX/UI is fantastic. I also love that I can very easily meal plan with it.

I realize that it’s pricy but this app will save me so much time, energy and frustration, it’s worth it to me. 12/10 this app isn’t even in a folder, it’s on my main screen.

  • What I’ve been looking for!

This app is amazing. I love how you can store recipes from all over, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and even ones from your own cookbooks/ recipes you have made yourself. It’s easy to load them once you get the hang of it. Easy to sort recipes. You can load recipes into a weekly meal plan and upload the recipes to make a weekly shopping list ( my favorite part). It saves me time and the headache around meal planning. Also if you have a suggestion the team is more than willing to work on adding/ change things. They just added a feature that lets you print from the app. Highly recommend joining the Facebook group where you can also comment if you are having trouble and either someone in the group will help or the creators. If you are thinking about it, give it a trial run but I guarantee you will love it.
  • Be like Nike Just do it

Don’t hesitate run to the subscribe button. This app is awesome. It is easy to use and works on all my devices. The fact that it compatible with social media so I can upload recipients from all favorite blogger is amazing! I can’t say it enough this easy. It will revolutionize your relationship with grocery shopping and meal time. I enjoy going to the store now. Dare I say I look forward to grocery shopping. I pick my recipes for the week in the meal planner and I take out what I don’t need. The app sorts the list and we are off. I check off as I put an item in my cart and if need the recipe to check something it is right there not at home on the counter or lost in my photos on my phone. Seriously this is worth the spend. Just do it… download this app!
