Pure Crap!
Been using Barbri for a month, and the apps have not worked for any of that time. At the moment, it won’t even open! They have the worst technology of the bar prep companies. They probably need to scrap this app and make a new one at this point. Barbri is too expensive for them to have apps that don’t work at all!!!

After Update Can't Even Open
After the most recent update, it literally can't even be openned on Mac. Just change it back.
Hot garbage
The app doesn’t work half the time, requiring you to uninstall and reinstall it. Furthermore, the app struggles with streaming lectures, regardless of how strong your internet connection may be. Honestly, this app takes a hard L as it fails to reach the “bar” set forth by the industry—what a shame.

I constantly have issues with this app on iPhone. I log in and nothing shows up. Just gray where my content should be. I’ve tried deleting and adding the app multiple times. I’ve turned off phone and logged back in. Issue is both on WiFi and cell data. It’s a real pain in the butt because I’m often trying to study without my computer- on the go a lot - and therefore waste a lot of valuable time and don’t feel I’m getting what I’m paying for. Very frustrated.

BARBRI should charge more
So that they can afford to hire minimally competent app developers.
Can’t access anything
I thought this app would be similar to the online platform that allows you to access your bookshelf to do readings and complete assignments. I’m using it on an iPad and it makes no sense why the books are not available. For the amount that we pay for this course, you’d think they could hire a better developer to make the course materials accessible. The app also constantly glitches and won’t even let me access videos or quizzes online, and the download function is completely nonfunctional. Extremely disappointing and I’ll definitely be recommending other prep companies to my friends taking the bar in the future.

Video player is a disgrace
As others have said, the videos don’t play in the app. I can’t tell if it’s the app or something on the backend, but these videos just won’t play. I waited five minutes and it finally started playing audio only with the video frozen. It would be nice if the app worked.

Useless for anything besides marking assignments completed
This app is just shy of completely nonfunctional. Video lecture modules don’t play. Revision activities not available though the app. Only practice question modules actually work, which are only about 20% of the course. Very disappointing considering how much a BARBRI course costs.
Hope you have a laptop
I have been trying to study for the past week, sadly at the moment my laptop is out of commission so I’m using my iPad and using the app offered by Barbri to study for the Bar.
I can’t play a single video. It’s not my wifi, and I’ve tried it on data as well. It won’t work on a phone, it does not work on iPads. DO NOT try to use the app to play the videos. They WILL NOT play.
