False advertising. Not free at all, unless you don’t want to make it past the welcome screen. I accidentally payed $12 to scan a document, because I didn’t expect the first button I would hit in the app would charge me money. Very tricky!holtron

Just add the cost of the app up front
If you have developed a useful app with a decent interface then be up front with the cost and people will pay for it. Don’t list the app as free with “in app purchases” when one can’t get past the welcome screen without paying. Ridiculous.The True Dark Knight
