  • Great companion

I downloaded this after I was a few books into the series to help me keep up with the characters. There was a bug with the text not scrolling and I reached out to the dev. He fixed it right away. The app works really well on an ipad (I read on my ipad) in split view. Great way to keep up with who's who.
  • Don’t buy. Really not worth it.

I am about 1/3 way through boom 4, and my friend told me about a free app that is no longer available. This app is not worth your time even if it was free. The map does not stay zoomed in and you cannot zoom in anywhere except to the center, so it is basically unusable. The only thing this app really has is a list chapters for all the books, and it mentions some of the characters associated with that chapter. There are definitely potential spoilers here too. I’m giving 2 stars only because it seems to be the only Wheel of Time app on the App Store.
  • Not worth the upgrade from the free compendium

While the chapter-based listings of new characters are somewhat helpful, the descriptions themselves are identical to the descriptions from the free application. The map could be a helpful addition, but does not stay zoomed in. Overall the chapter based listings and poorly functioning map don’t justify the paid app.
It could feel worth an upgrade if there was additional content such as a glossary of terms and locations (even just the glossary from the physical books with screening for spoilers would be appreciated)
  • Useful app

I like this because the cliff notes help me keep up with the show
