  • Pay to win? Nerf the Ai.

Although super auto pets is a good game, I have yet to get a single win in the game. I have reason to believe that the game is somewhat pay to win which makes it even worse when you realize children play the game and it is built for many ages. Think about how much money you will make off of children? Nothing. I will give a second review if I actually manage to win a game. For starters I’m thinking you should nerf the other players in the arena(and if they are Artificial Intelligence, you should nerf them so they don’t become impossibly powerful at the end of the game). I play games that make it possible to win. You won’t get play time if no one can win. I apologize for the inconvenience. I personally like the game design and the gameplay. The art is perfect for children and the way the design works is perfect. The only problem is the arena mode has no way to win. If the Ai is as nerfed as it can be, giving players a buff will usually help. If you want an idea, might I suggest boss fights. At the final round of each game, have an opponent that is stronger and more likely to encourage players to use as many buffs as possible to defeat the boss.
  • Needs fixed

The current weekly pack is near impossible to win. With the amount of animals it’s almost impossible to level anything up. You need crazy luck and the biggest issue is, for some reason the game pins you against teams that did get crazy luck. By turn 3 other teams will have level 2’s. And if I do get lucky enough to level something up, I get the two worst animals. Or if I do get something going it’s too late because I’m already on lethal. I don’t know how they decide what teams get vaulted to use against others or what the algorithm is but they need to make the game easier. People play to win the game, not lose 99% of matches. Make a change please. Another big issue is the order in which “before start of turn” abilities and items trigger. I just lost a match because the enemies abilities AND items triggered before my level 3 woodpecker and pita breads. They had a level 2 skunk and two animals with figs. My stuff should have triggered first, and pita breads should trigger immediately after the first hit. Fix please.
  • Possibly The Best iOS Game Ever

This game is insanely fun and addicting. It’s perfect for iOS because you can do a round in 5-15 minutes and the only game input you need is moving and tapping your finger - no reflexes or “digital” controllers needed!

I’ve seen some people complain that it is too luck dependent. And yes, it is more luck dependent than most other games, but there is still a very real and deep element of skill and strategy underneath. Besides, the luck aspect is what makes it massively replayable and so addicting. For reference, I have over 3400 games played and a win rate of 20%, so it is definitely do-able. But it’s really more about the journey rather than the destination with this game. Enjoy!
  • Love the game, Unicorn pack needs balanced BAD

Decently long time player here. I love this game, easy to open up the phone and spend 10-15 on a game, getting the achievements with the different pets makes the gameplay always different, and the abilities are sweet for the most part. The unicorn pack is completely unbalanced and frankly unfinished though. There are 2-3 strategies that MUST be used to even have a chance to win, with one of these being complete cheese. That would be the cyclops Murmel combo. All you gotta do is get two Murmels, 1xp on both and gingerbread on both, and then until tier 4 get 3 other animals with 1xp and 1 ginger bread and you’ll win like 5/6 of battles. At t4 get a cyclops as high tier as you can and it’s basically over for the opponent. I had an impossible time winning before using this strategy. Now when I use this and get even remotely decent RNG I win every time. Meanwhile say you use a mana build or a debuff build you will find yourself always losing if you don’t have perfect RNG.
  • Easy to get into, sky’s the skill limit

At the beginning, the mechanics are quite simple. It’s interesting how you can come up with more complex synergies with specific pets or foods, and the options are quite diverse with hundreds of pets and a considerable amount of variety in food. There is an rng aspect to the rolling, some games are simply unwinnable for even the most seasoned veterans, but they don’t occur often if you know what you’re doing and can adapt. Many of the bad reviews on here references how some specific pets are overpowered(hippo mostly), and how they are having trouble. This game however is a strategy game at its core, and not relying on one single strategy to win is essentially the majority of people’s problem. Again however, some games are unwinnable no matter what, and losing several games in a row even when not playing verses games can be frustrating, so their anger is not unreasonable. If you consider yourself a lucky person, you’ll have a more easy time getting into this game then those that are the reverse.
  • FIX THE GAME

An avid and daily player for over a year now, the games matches have become extremely and significantly more difficult, to a point it is not worth playing much if continues. As someone who played on Steam before iOS and then daily since game dropped can say for fact the games AI is becoming ridiculous. I have watched 100s of hours of steamers playing to get all the strategy down, and consider myself an advanced player. I went from winning once every 10 games to once every 40 games. It is absolutely ridiculous you get to round 15-18 and the teams you are up against EVERY time is a joke. The only reason now I will is pure luck and random. As an advanced skilled experienced player I have gone 40 games before without winning. Absolute joke. I am going to delete game and come back when this is addressed
  • Remove the Rubberbanding

This game is so much RNG except for the matchmaking which has such obvious rubberbanding. But despite this game requiring no skill some people win a lot, so something fishy is going on. I love using a probability calculator somebody created after losing 3 games in a row at 9 trophies, and seeing that for each of those games the program simulates I would have won 75-85% of the 1000 simulations, but the enemy snipes hit that small percentage perfectly to ruin it (RNG is preserved in the enemy teams btw which is why it always seems like they snipe or summon the perfect pets to win). I love going to the community pages and seeing people post “how did I win on turn 19 with this weak garbage team” and see a video of the weak team they got matched with, meanwhile my beefy teams with synergy gets wrecked 4 games in a row by absurd teams after turn 9.

There’s obvious rubberbanding devs. Do you care to explain why its stronger for some players and not others?

    Developer Response

Hey, sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your time with the game. To offer some context about the matchmaking system, we only match you with teams that have the same amount of wins and are on the same turn as you. This is so you're always facing teams that are performing as well as you are, we wanted each victory to feel earned. There is no cherry-picking or choosing teams based on their composition. We hope that makes sense and you come back to try the game again, best regards.
  • frustrating and luck based, addicting like gambling

Game is really addicting and fun, I could sink hours into easily. I love strategy games but I hate these strategy games that are 50% skill and 50% luck. No matter how good you play or how smart you are you’ll always be at the mercy of getting the right animals. I’ll create a solid deck that stream rolls until 6-7 wins, after I get there all the animals in the shop are unrelated forcing you to waste gold on rolls wasting turns and making it impossible for you to win because you’ll face someone who didn’t have that issue. Or you won’t get a good animals to build a team around until like turn 7-8 and by then you’re so far behind it doesn’t matter. Other times times I’ll get three-four animals within 2 turns and then go 7 turns without getting another, decide to sell and then get two of the animal I needed in the shop. Game is fun in the same way gambling is fun, the odds aren’t in your favor and don’t expect skill to be enough to win, you’ll always be at the whim of the shop and the shop won’t do you favors.
  • Okay game-update

It’s basically a complete gamble game without any real skill involved. You’ll understand the synergy after 10-20 games but when the game decides to retold buy/sell pets at waves 9+ you could even lose stacking up to 30 gold a turn with bad reroll rng. Great idea for a game and kills some time but really lacks skill involvement and when you get lucky you just win at round 10 and it feels too easy making you want to continue but then some games you could have a quantum computer make the best choices and yet still not get a single trophy and lose at round 9 inevitably. 6/10
The newest update completely ruined this game, “hard mode” is basically having opponents 2-3 turns ahead of you which is basically just relying on your own rng to get past it. Once you have chosen a pet unless you hit a 15% chance at turn 3-8 you will have to use what they give you which can again completely deter your run since it will recycle useless pets. Giving it a 4/10 now
  • Fun game but RNG never goes in your favor.

By the time you get a decent team put together, you always go up against a team that is further along than you are, and you can’t develop your team quick enough to meet the unfair challenge. You then lose your team then have to start all over again and can never get the team that your wanting to build. You can never use the higher ranked animals because by the time you get your team developed you don’t want to change them out for anyone, so you always use the same animals and you always lose to the same outclassed animal combo over and over again. It is a fun game but it has a major balance problem.
