Simple and straight forward app. The only problem I have with it is that the visibility unit keeps reverting back to kilometers after I change the setting to miles. I've done this multiple times now. Besides that, I would say it's the best METAR app out there.

Thanks Robert! Build 73 is being approved for release now with some other additions that fixes this issue. Thanks for supporting METAR!Have been using this for about a year. Latest update happens and now my visibility setting keeps reverting to KM. I set it to statute miles every time and it holds that setting for a couple of hours, then BAM. 16km visibility. Seriously?

Now the TAFs are no longer decided and the app wants $2 a month (!) for a “pro” version. I have no problems paying for quality software, but that’s too much for what this app does.
For what it is now - a basic tool - $24 a year subscription is greedy.

We believe it’s more than fair, however we understand not all are in a position to pay, so we’ve always ensured the free version of the app offers more than enough features with no payment required. We hope you’ve been able to find a free solution to your problem!App runs well and is simple to use. Only thing I would improve is adding an IFR/VFR banner or icon.
Simple, clean, uncluttered UI. Exactly what I was looking for, to use as a drone pilot.
Would definitely recommend.
Airline pilot here. This app isn’t fancy. It’s not going to give you a complete weather briefing. But if you need to check the weather at your departure airport and your destination in a pinch this app is perfect. Simple, easy to read and use. All the info you need, and nothing that you don’t. Best part: no ads!

Image of the wind direction across the airport is good, but for one nearby airport (KPIE) wasn’t drawn properly.

Thanks for the review! It looks like KPIE has had a bit of shuffling over the years. Runways becoming taxiways, or closed altogether, due to expansion, or maintenance etc. I've gone and corrected the entry for KPIE with the right information. Thanks for letting me know!
