In my experience, there are not many apps out there, if any, that let you choose your news sources, and you get your news feed all in one place especially if you want both sides. Now these features weren’t working as advertised for awhile, including updating of feeds. I absolutely love the idea that I can tune out the echo chamber of legacy media that still is abetted by alphabet to force the lies down your throat, and when I say lies I mean full-on non truth, falsehood, fallacies; and opinions of people that I have come to distrust and do not respect for the simple reason that I don’t like to listen to liars.
So, here I can select the news sources that don’t dominate the narrative, and I can get both sides, but particularly the side of truth that the Liar doesn’t want you to hear. Truth. I am aware there are equally bad sources on all sides but i am so relieved here is a place I can get the news they don’t want you to hear. I can deduce the truth, as can many people, with a healthy blend of all viewpoints.
Thank you sirs for fixing the issues of not saving preferences and of not updating the feed on a regular, polling the sources as soon as I open the app. Love it thank you! Finally !
As for the browser, I don’t use that often so can’t comment too much on it, and the AI is careful, which is good? Not sure, but for news feed, fantastic !
I had previously used Tusk as my web browser and it worked great!
And this was just in the last year(2024)
So now on July 4,2024, I add it and it will NOT get past the first webpage instructions of going into Safari and changing it to Tusk . I did that and that page will not disappear so I can use it .

The Home Screen and web browser are too confusing!!! When you have several tabs open the app doesn’t know what to do, it’s confused and literally no way of switching between any opened tabs. By pressing the back button to return to the previous web page, this goes through the tabs that are opened, and if you close that tab, it actually closes a different tab. It’s really weird and funky… AI is a bit wacky on this platform. But the issue makes this app useless unless I’m only checking the weather, so useless. This app is not even a good attempt at a web browser! You need the basics to start and they’ve failed miserably.

I love TuskSearch! Search results are vastly better than Google and DuckDuckGo. My only complaint is with Apple – they need to allow us to use TuskSearch as a default search engine.
Like others using this app, I was excited for its possibilities. But, it doesn’t even meet its potential. You can’t close tabs. If I do a copy paste into the search function and hit return, it does nothing. If I search for a specific alternative news website it bypasses it for its competition. Dismally disappointing!!
I was excited for the concept of this app! I downloaded this browser and I cannot use it. There’s no way to delete tabs. A video was playing and I couldn’t even figure out where it was to turn it off. It was a video that I had already listen to. I finally found it just by pushing different parts of your app until it finally brought it up. I have tried to use it four or five times and I’m going to have to delete it. It should be real simple because all the other browsers, make it simple to push an X and the tab is gone. I don’t know what y’all are trying to do with the functionality of this app but the most basic things don’t work.
What good does a search engine do for you, if the screen keeps going black, and it won’t let you sign up.
When I tried to sign up it would bot ket me see tge lunes where I put in my address and other information.
I own a iPhone 12, and I use it almost exclusively to search for everything .
I will try in a few months to use it again. If they have bot fixed it by them I will just delete the app.
I was excited to see Tusk was censorship free. I know Americans are wanting this so it’s so important to get this right. I even made the browser my default until a put in a link into the search bar believing it would take me to the exact page and it took me to a Tusk search engine. I then went to preferences to check out what I could do there and it crashed on me and closed out several times. Disappointed. I hope this web browser can hire the right help and make it great. When building new conservative browser, I would have thought privacy would be in the top three things to address. I didn’t see any way to delete my short browsing history, and the issue was not addressed in the FAQs…. Deleting the app off my phone until that issue is addressed.
