I’m using it on AUM on iPad to record a nord drum 2. Seems very precise. SO enjoyable to use. It is like yer in my head. Please redesign all software I use.RG3825

As detailed in the description of this project, it's designed to not support these features and operate more like a 4 track audio recorder, capturing all the details that dense MPE MIDI streams emit. If you want a traditional piano roll recorder and editor with all the associated downside, MIDI Tape Recorder is not for you, there are many other projects like that out there.Versatile Tool!
Fills a gap where I needed JUST this capability! MPE is a sorely neglected area that's getting better all the time.

It's not possible to know why your iPad doesn't open MIDI Tape Recorder without knowing more about your configuration and how you're using it. Are you using MIDI Tape Recorder as a plug-in inside a host or DAW? It's not a standalone app and doesn't provide any functionality on its own. This is such an exciting plug-in that does exactly what I’ve been waiting for. It captures every nuance of my imperfect performance, and all the subtle human character of my unique movements. A performance recorder that doesn’t “correct” my input. I love being able to perform first, then try different sounds and instruments with that performance exactly how I played it.
