A must have app

There are a lot of golf apps that track score, round stats, or keep track of games played, but none of them do it as well or as comprehensively as the Leaderboard app.

Highly recommend for any golfer. It’s a must have app.

Top notch golf app

I’m a frequent player who is looking to get better, so I wanted an app to allow tracking of some stats while incorporating the GPS feature. Of the many I tried I found leaderboard to be the most reliable. Plus I play with friends/family enough where having the wagering component was super useful. Definitely recommend.

Supreme Usability

Would not let me past “free trial” page

I logged into this app, entered my cell phone number, and date of birth unfortunately, then the app asked me how I heard about them press the proper application and then the free trial page came up. It gave me two offers of a pro version. It also gave me an X to get out of the app or a skip option to skip the free trial page, and the skip option would not work nor would the work to let me get out of the page. Unsurprisingly what work is if I pressed on a free trial to pay for the app. Obviously they’re trying to get you to pay money for the app, which is their prerogative, but don’t give options that don’t actually work. You would probably have a lot more users. If you were upfront about your application seems pretty sneaky.

No Multi Year Stat Tracker

Enjoyed the app and the data keeping. Got this for the GPS + stats and it’s been great. Disappointed that in year 2 I don’t get multi year options with my data as it’s all lumped together.

Best value for a free golf app on IOS!!!

Beautiful and clean design with a ton of features for a free version of an app. The best I’ve ever found on IOS. I’ve been telling all my friends to use it. The team is very involved and takes feedback. Can’t go wrong spending your money here!

Phone number and access to contacts required

There is absolutely no reason (other than for you to store data and sell it) for you to need access to my cell number and my contacts. 1 star and auto delete of the app for being intrusive data farmers.

Hi NoThanks1992. We're sorry to hear you had concerns about our data collection practices. Phone number is only required for authentication to verify your device. By verifying your phone number, we can better protect your account from unauthorized access and provide you with a more secure experience. As for contacts, we do not require that you grant Leaderboard access and you have the option to deny this. We request access to contacts to help you find your friends in the application.

Amazing

This is one of the only apps I’ve ever rated. I downloaded this app from an Instagram ad that said this is the only golf app that was developed by developers who are actual golfers, and this is honestly true. I haven’t used the app much yet but it’s honestly so refreshing to see a golf app with a nice looking UI and simple features!

Good - not great

A couple of things would make this great - 1 - The ability to score a 5 or 6 point scotch game. We play with a 6th point for a “sneak” - making par without having made a GIR. 2 - A skins game for a fixed entry. For example - 16 players each contribute a flat $20 to the skins pool. The payout is based on the total pool divided by the number of skins won. If no skins are won in a particular week the pool carries over to the next week.
