No crashes for me, worked fine. Glad I could enter Kibbe DC rather than it trying to guess. When I uploaded the photo where people told me Cool Summer (which has sister season winter), it typed me Summer/Winter. I uploaded a pic where my hair is lighter (it was darker than normal before) it gave me Summer. So seems quite accurate in color typing if you use good color typing photos.
My issue is, it doesn’t seem to actually apply the system recommendations very well. It knows them and the best colors and shapes for me, but the recommendations seem random. Lots of black stuff which is lame for a Summer. And the clothes just look like standard fast fashion, I expected DC-friendly clothing. Part of the problem seems to be that it only pulls from like 2 brands - it needs to pull from a lot more and actually filter by material, shape, color, etc. Also, the filter by color only has a few colors, and they are not season-specific. It has: white, grey, black, brown. red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, purple. Most of those are doable for any season depending on the shade. It should at least have a tool that lets you filter by color season, since they claim the app will implement it but it doesn’t. They have a season filter but I think it’s for what season you would wear that clothing in, not about its color. It’s also odd that its color recommendations (based on your color season) suggests different colors to wear in warm & cold seasons. Why are they different? It told me (a summer) to wear med pink, med blue and dark blue in warm season, and dark blue in cold season. And none of them were desaturated or pastel. It treats me like a Winter… it’s odd and sad.
I think it’s a fantastic concept! But the app needs to actually *use* the concepts!
