Had to buy it again

Purchased this game a year ago. Played several times and always enjoyed. This time, all that would download was the ridiculously and unethically named free to play version. Even after I downloaded Beginning, which is the re-named game that I paid for back when, the purchase was not recognized. I bought it again just so I could call EG to task with a review. I’ve written directly to them and got zero response. Free to play, btw, is a sham. It’s only free if you want to play every 22 hours. Shame on you EG. And shame on you for telling players their purchase will be recognized. It isn’t.

I agree with everyone that it's the same game

I thought I was crazy. Then I read the reviews and realized. This is just a reissue of some game from a while back. I don't even remember the name. Don't get me wrong - I LIVE for these atmospheric mystery hidden object games. They're all extremely similar. Same formula. And that's okay with me. I dig them anyway and don't mind paying for new ones. But to reissue one as if it's new? Come on. And the release before this was a new format where instead of paying then playing, it's like pay as you go and it winds up much more expensive. Elephantgames are dropping the ball lately. You guys have a pretty good cash cow. Don't get greedy because we don't like this crapola and won't pay you anymore.

Same game

It’s the same game as before just different name. The first is called Genesis and I know the game says 1 on it but why change the name to birth. I would like to see another game in this series.

Update Feb.2 Tried to play the game and went to restore purchase and it told me it’s not on file. I paid for this game the first time around and I’m not paying for it twice. Please fix

Attention players! Do not purchase this game if you bought Strange Investigations: Genesis. It was a terrific game, but it’s not new. However, the developer realized what happened and you do not have to pay for it again. Your purchase will be automatically restored!
Elephant, please give us some new games. This population won’t play f2p. We buy our games, so keep them coming. You have barely given us anything the last few months!

This game was released early in 2021 as Strange Investigations Genesis. Be forewarned - do not purchase if you owned it previously.

Hello! You are right. This is a Strange Investigations: Genesis. You won't be charged twice if you already bought this game. If you for some reason were charged the second time, please, ask AppStore for a refund. Or contact us at support@elephant-games.com and we'll send you instructions on hot to request a refund.
