WHY DO YOU NEED MY EMAIL & PASSWORD?
I REALLY don’t like that this new Saint of the Day app requires that you “sign in” and provide your email.
I am not Catholic, but I really did like the older Saint of the Day app. It was great and made no such demands. Having to give personal information in this new app, I think, should be optional as it will deter some (including me) from downloading and using the app. This is too bad as this app can be seen a was to reach others with the message of our Lord and to encourage others within the church in their faith walk.
PLEASE! Let us use the app without having to provide our email or any other personal info. You will undoubtedly reach more people that way.

I love that they have correlated the calendar to saint of the day, but why not add a play button if there is a podcast about already done that saint too?Rosebudfantast

Daily Saint of the Day!
I do love that there’s a kid based Saint of Day app! Quick and short that we can learn about on our way to school. Love the cute artwork that they can see in the style of their dolls at home. I give 4 stars because I really wish there was an option to play a recording out loud with it. And, even better if those podcasts already done and recorded could match up with the saint of the day if there was one available since it might be too much to have a podcast for every Saint of the day.No way to share
I really like this app. It’s sweet and a great way to learn about the Saints. But I’m taking away two stars for not having a way to share these with others.iteinpace

Thank you Shining Light Dolls for the beautiful Saint stories! We have listened to many through the podcast during lunch or quiet time. I love the length (approximately 7 min each), the historical details at the beginning and the engaging story. I’m so amazed that you can offer this as a free resource! Thank you so much!!!!!
The new app is amazing and will be fun for my 4 and 2 year old to have a Saint picture when they want to pick the story, and I can’t wait to start reading the Saint of the day to them each morning!
P.S. My daughter is begging for a story about St. Lucy!!!Can I het help???
I love the search function to find specific stories quickly!!
My son LOVES listening to Saint Stories for Kids by Shinning Light Dolls! He will often request a specific Saint story or the Halloween episodes, but it’s hard to scroll through Apple or Spotify to find a specific story especially if I’m pressed for time. I’m looking forward to both using the search function to find specific episode quickly and using the Saint of the Day and calendar!! On each saints page on the Saint of the day, I’d love to see a link to their podcast or even a note at the bottom if they have one in the collection like Saint Gudula on 1/08. I’d also love to be able to find themed podcasts (like Halloween and Christmas) in either a podcast “collection” or to come up when searching Christmas or Halloween.
