Reviews of The Workout LA

  • Great workout but…

I’ve just started this workout and only done a few classes but so far I am really loving the workouts. They remind me a lot of a Tracy Anderson style workout, but with a lot more meat to them. I love that they have a lot of 30 minute workouts. They definitely got my heart rate up. And I didn’t find myself getting bored, which is one of my biggest issues when it comes to streaming workouts. I liked the instructors. They have fun personalities and keep you engaged in the workout.

As much as I like the workout, I do not like the app. I’ve done workouts that use this app format before and it’s not my favorite. Not as easy as some other workout apps that I’ve done. However, my biggest complaint is that there doesn’t seem to be a download feature for the workouts. I like to download the workout before I do it so it doesn’t drain the battery on my iPad streaming the whole time. If you don’t have great Internet, and need to download the workouts ahead of time, this app does not allow for it. Which is weird because I’ve seen the download feature on other workout programs that use this app.

Also it looks like the only new workout added each week are the zoom classes. Which is fine but for some reason the zoom classes don’t get sorted into the different categories like sculpt, sweat, barre etc. so you have to scroll through all the zoom ones to find what kind of workout you want to do. It would be great if those got sorted into the different categories. It would make the app easier to use.

  • Apple TV Please

Love the app but can we get a version for Apple TV? Airplaying it from my phone gets cumbersome.
