Great concept, app is clunky

Me and my partner have been using official for the last 6 months. Whilst the content has been really good and we especially enjoy the quizzes as well as the daily questions. The new layout is clunky and not intuitive. The previous layout was much easier to navigate and something more akin to this would be better. As such our usage has reduced and I hope they have plans to refresh their look again as the hold to reveal features and tabs make it feel archaic and distracting not rewarding.

If they could fix the bugs and clunky UI I’d gladly go back to giving this a 4/5 stars, for the time being I’d struggle to recommend it to friends in its current UI

App freezes sometimes

I loved the app until before the new update. Everytime I want to answer the new daily question, the app freezes and I can’t type nor exit the window - I’d then have to restart the app. I still use the app but just find this glitch annoying.

New update is TERRIBLE

My partner and I have been loving this app, but the new layout is awful! The “press and hold” to reveal the daily question pretty annoying (and if you don’t hold it long enough it doesn’t work) and the sliding through different cards sort of look at the top is just weird. I really miss the old layout where everything was in one place, this one is so much harder to navigate and feels like I have to go searching through things to find what I want. Please change it back!!

Good for long distance

It genuinely was a pleasant surprise to find out that this app isn’t just another gross “pay $15 a month to use”. While yes there are sections behind a paywall such as Quizzes (you get a max of 1 per category on free mode), the daily questions are cute! I also love that they have buttons to send quick messages such as “let’s dip” or a kiss. It makes the relationship feel closer, if that makes sense. Overall after a week of using it I’ve greatly enjoyed it and would absolutely recommend :)

Good but glitches, wouldn’t waste your money on +

This app is good at first, you get on and your immediate thought is “I need to buy pro so I can do all these things.” But I wouldn’t. Within a few days everyone I’ve seen starts experiencing bugs, whether it’s being logged out, or the limits on quizzes glitching. It seems like everyone is given a personal bug, mine is not being able to see any updates made to the app. My girlfriend and I can see that there is a notification that each other updated our mood, checked-in, sent a kiss, etc. However, when actually going to the app, nothing is there for the past few days. I hope this is fixed because I think this app has great aesthetics and an amazing concept, it’s helped my girlfriend and I communicate better. However, it isn’t worth the hassle if it keeps glitching. Without all the glitches, I think this app would be amazing. Although, premium seems a bit overpriced when you buy it, and once you get it you still have limits on things. Even with premium, it doesn’t feel “fully accessible”. Overall, great app, but can’t be used properly with all of the glitches, which I think leads to a lot of people just deleting it and giving up.

❤️ the app, needs gender customization

I really enjoy using this app, I’m in designer so a little more critical of a user interface, but everything is pretty logical. A couple of organizational things that maybe aren’t super clear but it’s an awesome app.

The only thing that is a bit of a deterrent, not for me, but on a broader user standpoint, is that they use a lot of cute illustrations throughout the app. Unfortunately it’s always a guy and a gal. My boyfriend and I use the app every day, but since we’re both dudes, it just is one level of disconnection from the app. It feels like maybe it’s not for me. And it totally is. None of the questions are heteronormative. We love it and I always look forward to hearing what his answer for the day question was. but if there is a way for me to select our gender and maybe skin tone, that would make it feel like it was just ours.

The app has been amazing for my partner and I but lately the app has refused to open so I haven’t been able to answer questions to see our matches. But it’s a great app. We use a lot of the features for dates and surprises.

This app is relationship changing in the best way!

I LOVE THIS APP!!! I have never made a review for an app in my life but this one was so very deserving!!! My boyfriend and i have a pretty tricky past so we felt as tho we needed to work on getting to know each other a little better and this app has helped so much with that! From the quizzes to help learn each other better to the silly little texts i get about me swiping in the intimacy section it has just overall made us closer and i cant be happier! Not to mention that this brings up tons of conversation topics about intimacy dates foods and many other things! The only negative thing i can say about this app is that you have to have premium to do alot of fun things but… the free version has still improved my relationship alone !! 🩷

Good with one big flaw

Other than the additions of payed subscription models and such that is just a sour taste in any consumers mouth the sheer amount of poly questions is quite disturbing I would love to see a way to disable such things as many people me and my partner included are quite against such practices I could care less what people do in private quarters I’d just like the option for “ straight monogamous only when it comes to anything to do with the swipe cards
