Kareero

Kareero is an interactive interest assessment that offers an immersive experience where you are challenged with developing a gardening program. Through your choices and actions, your interest areas are uncovered. Used with Agriculture in the Classroom Canada’s thinkAG website, Kareero helps you explore careers that match your interests. Kareero is based on Dr. John L. Holland’s, Holland Code model, also known as the RIASEC system. The Holland theory suggests there are six broad categories into which careers can be grouped based on people’s personalities, preferences, and interest areas: o Build (Realistic) o Think (Investigative) o Create (Artistic) o Help (Social) o Persuade (Enterprising) o Organize (Conventional) Pick the activities you want to do, make your own choices, and discover your interests to learn about which careers are customized for you!
