Thank you for using the official HexaTrek app! This update includes : - Updated hiking trail: Be sure to use the latest version of the trail, about 10% of the trail has been changed to correct some issues and continue to improve the route. - Addition of alternative path: Find 11 new alternative routes in the application. These alternative routes are connected to the main trail and allow hikers to either venture onto a more technical section than the official route, or to use an alternate route in case of dangerous weather conditions. List of alternative routes: Crêtes du Jura Suisse / Easy (Stage 1) Le Pas au Taureau / Difficult (Stage 2) Lac Anterne / Emergency route (Stage 2) Les 30 combes / Difficult (Stage 3) The Crêtes du Vercors / Difficult (Stage 3) The Gorges of the Ardèche / CANOE (Stage 4) Gorges du Tarn / CANOE (Stage 4) Pic Carlit / Intermediate (Stage 5) The Haute Route of the Pyrenees HRP / Very difficult (Stage 5) Sarradets - Breche Roland / Intermediate (Stage 6) Belaitous / Intermediate (Stage 6) Find these routes on the app identifiable in PURPLE, and clic directly on the icons at the departure and arrival of the alternative route to learn more. - New points of interest added: More than 800 Points of Interest have been added, that is 2600 points of interest present in the application. 5 new categories of points of interest available: - Public toilets - Restaurants - Bivouac spot - Difficult passages - Intersection alternative route - New Menu / KM/GPS function The design of the menu button has changed and adds a new feature that allows to change the distance calculation on the points of interest. Distance calculation (KM): the (distance/height) between the points of interest are displayed without your location data. This function is ideal to prepare your route in advance.
